I wonder if we need to go back to the days when we did not use an attacking midfielder for all games ie when we had Dobbie and before gylfi. perhaps use Shelvey and ask him to bust a gut for 45 minutes along with britton and canas. Then bring on De guzman, michu or hernadez as attacking midfielder. Bit of curve ball but use pace of Emnes or Dyer upfront to give an option to catch the high pressing system with a ball over the top in the Arsenal & Everton games away. Unfortunately Bony not quick enough and michu not fit. We need to change something
After spending the entire Laudrup season as the most used player , Poz hasn't played a part since Laudrups departure . i'd pick him if I was manager but ......The team I named , is my team the rest of the way if healthy neath .
He was warned for what Valley believed to be comments that were not in line with the questions asked in the topic (I agree with Valley) and Valley asked him to stop whilst deleting his comment, he then proceeded to threaten Valley if he were to delete any more posts or ban him, so I did the only thing I could do, ban him. Most know I don't like Dai, even he knows that I am sure of it, but have never once used my personal dislike cloud my judgement, else he would have been perma banned a long time ago but he deserved the ban IMO. Half of me for reasons of him acting a tit and deserving it, the other half just to see if he can get me into trouble like he claimed he would do to valley. Nothing as of yet, surprise surprise.
I wouldn't start with Michu I'd let Pablo continue in that No 10 role and if needs be either if he blows up again after 50 /60 minutes then bring him on ,a long lay off and now to expect him to reach the standard that we know he can produce is too much to ask just yet , we can and have been as effective without him for months so ease him back gently imo .
what about that Kieran Davis guy - he seemed to have the majority of posts on every thread a few weeks ago but now there's no sign of him.......
Good to see the Swans beating Cardiff 3-1 tonight in the FAW Youth cup semi final. Apparently a wonder goal from Josh Sheehan who spotted the keeper off his line, and hits a 45 yard strike over the keeper and into the net
Another extremely poor game for us against Everton, we were extremely naive at the back. Playing the 'Monk' way we never look like not conceding and our players look 'rattled'. The players rallied after the goal but then our defence was all over the place and we conceded far too easily. Monk's team does not look like it could keep a clean sheet. After the Cardiff game many were sold on Monk as a new Messiah, those people must now concede they were wrong. If we are relegated or stay up we simply must find a new manager. There will be a number of changes in the playing squad and the manager needs to be changed asap at the end of the season to do this. If we stay up and do not change manager, or go down and do not change manager we will be relegated from either division. Monk simply cannot cut it, 1 win in 9 now, 1 win in 10 after the Gunners I expect, simply not good enough. Monk out!
