I got to dislike Altidore watching him play for the US. Not so much because he was selfish as because I saw him make an outrageish dive or two.

It's funny, I'm getting to like him a bit watching him play for Sunderland. He doesn't seem selfish and I haven't seen him dive. I get the feeling if he would train really hard he could eventually be a good PL hold up striker. He's not there yet, but you can see flashes, I think.

He did dive against Fulham - but he was also fouled - he didn't have to go down the way he did though (a little theatrical!)

I've watched both him and Fletcher - I've seen more good from Fletcher when watching them play overall. Both have been less than average IMO this season
