May be an honest opinion, but we'll just pigeon hole this until Saturday evening. http://www1.skysports.com/football/...ure-if-ole-gunnar-solskaer-can-rescue-cardiff You never know...........
I normally like Martinez but suspect he is taking a leaf out tof the "Special One's" book and trying a bit of psychology before the weekend's game. He is right in certain respects about problems in changing managers mid-season but completely ignores the underlying reasosn in this case in terms of Malky's poor purchases at great cost, apparent use of the media to try to protect his position - regardless of the fact that VT appears mad as a box of frogs - and obvious poor run of results culminating in the Southampton debacle. A think a simple answer of "Pi$$ off Roberto" should be OGS' response.
I would like to think we will get a positive result up in Mickey Mouser land on Saturday. Stick these comments in the dressing room Ole. Come on the City.
Also saw that Leighton Baines said they must carry on with Martinez's attacking policy despite their 4-1 beating by Arsenal. Could be the best option for us on Saturday if they do - keep it tight and hit them on the counter. Martinez was never a great defensive tactician and always went for the goals at Wigan. Mind you, he's got a much better defence to work with at Everton, but like I said - you never know.
didn't this daft twat relegate wigan last year?..........typical prick from football circles talking out of his arsehole again. ooh the drama of prem football hey >>>>it reminds me of how don king ruined boxing forever with lame talk and no fking action only creaming the money from the sport while the going was good.
he spent his entire time at wigan battling the drop, he knows more than most about life down the bottom of the table, i dont really see what the problem is......... apart from that daft comment about giving managers 'time', if your crap and results are crap, then you get sacked, wake up its 2014 with hundreds of millions at stake..........
You can apply what he said to any team in any league these days. Seems like a template some journo has cobbled together to make life easier for them.
Yor still a mod? Thought you left when you moved, oh well nice to have you back/staying/i'm not really sure
Yeah, I still have the status and have only recently been able to log on fairly regular, if you guys are happy for me to remain in the seat no worries, if you prefer I vacate then no worries there either. I dropped out of the predictions because of infrequent visits and not because I am likely to get relegated Still travelling but that will end all to soon when I begin working again.
For me, carry on Taff. Good to have 3 sensible Mods and, thankfuly, this board is a much less frantic, argumentative place at present. Some good dicussions and differences of opinions but generally given and taken the right way. How long is JH's ban?
Just the usual, being an argumentatice soul and winding up long standing City fans and members of this forum. He could start a row in an empty room and is probably arguing with himself as I type this. In some ways it is a pity because he did have some valid opinions. It was how he expressed them that was the problem.
Item #7 guys. http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/236033-Banning-and-the-lifting-of-bans I think Taff had had enough and took the action out of concern for the wellbeing of the board. There was no need for the constant confrontational stuff directed at other Cardiff members. John was asked politely several times to cut it out and back off, but it seems he couldn't help himself. This board should reflect a broad church of opinions on all matters concerning the club, whether it's about the game, players and manager etc, let alone immotive issues like the colour change. Differences of opinion should be talking points not slanging matches.
Perhaps you'll be able to redeem yourself in the World Cup! Like the Kim discussion on the Cardiff v Fulham thread
