Morning Everyone, Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse..... ***We are conceding goals for fun*** ***There is unrest in the dressing room*** ***Cellino is threatening to walk away without a fight and take back the 10m he has ploughed into the club in the last two months*** ***Cellino says no more money for LUFC*** Another home drubbing, this time at the hands of Reading. At one point, I thought it could be a cricket score, fortunately for us either Reading took their foot off the peddle, or Smithy started a fight back. Fair play to Austin, after he scored, he seemed to be a different player. Doubt he'll ever score a better goal. Smith is a half decent player, with some fight in him. Why doesn't he start? Is McCormack Captain material. Its not all about being the best player on the pitch, its about motivating your team mates, not letting their heads go down, giving them direction, and being a leader. Is McCormack the right man for the job? There must be problems in the dressing room. Who heard McDermott speak to the press after the game, he was more or less saying that it runs a lot deeper then just the Manager!!! Cellino is refusing to invest any more money. How the **** has he managed to spend 10m in two months? You know what, I don't blame him. The football league meet tomorrow to discuss Leeds Utd, though I wouldn't have thought there would be a decision until after Cellino's court case next week. If Cellino does walk away, we'll be in a worse position then we were just before Christmas, especially if he takes his 10m with him. Mike Farnan, where are you??? Imagine if Bates came back??? What about another David Haigh consortium special?
Cellino has been quoted in the Guardian "I have been humiliated quite enough so far. At this point I wonder why I have been treated so badly after paying the salaries and debts over the past two months.
Morning Elland. Not a good day at the Office. At least we kept the score respectable, and amazingly could have snatched a draw with the good chances we created. Really worry about Saturday. I think Brown needs to come back in CM with Austin. Play Mowatt one side and Murphy the other. Either way, please can we try to pass our way round rather than lump it up field & then look surprised as to why the opposition keep up the pressure.
This is serious (SERIOUS). This could threaten our future as we know it. If we were to start again, that could be an option?
Morning Boggers. You know things are bad when we admit letting four goals in at home is respectable!!! I know what you mean though!!!
All this time I wanted to talk to him I get the moment in the lift last night and have a mind blank!!! View attachment 30083 He looked genuinely gutted and said "I'm so sorry you had to watch that rubbish"
Morning all. Little to add. I posted a couple of days back that cellino had stopped paying up but didn't seem to bother too many then. At this point we would be better off doing a Rangers. New clean start, get rid of all playing staff., rent a ground more appropriate to the crowds well draw and let Bates **** off and see who'll rent Elland Road from him. At least next week will likely see us hit the bottom of the barrel one way or the other and only way will be up. Interesting how many didn't want celling near the club and he now looks our only hope for survival
You think you've got problems - rumours around that we are about to sign that useless donkey Becchio on loan
Good morning all I was having an op yesterday on my cancer so I missed the game and didn't know the score till I came round about 4am cant say I was surprised but at least Smith is still scoring! Still cant understand how Lees keeps his place but how did they perform or not perform lets hope we will be singing Volare soon
Morning mr60, hope its all going well buddy Agree with you about Lees, never ever rated him. For Burnley I'd have to go with the back line below Butland Byram Pelts Pearce Warnock Brown There stuff us. Proper good pasing team and we cant string one together. I'm off to London Saturday so I wont be tuning in.
I WILL survive no problems, have to go and get my asphogus stretched every two weeks but as you can imagine it knocks you for 6 our lot doesn't help either !Thank you for asking Elland .My brother in law came and picked me up as my wife had fallen and fractured her shoulder what a bloody pair! His car broke down outside LGI just what I needed so we had to send for our son to pick us up by the time I got home at 7pm went straight to sleep !
Great tbh mate Yorath was speaking after the game and said our players where too slow and that Reading finished well. The food was amazing free beer was good and the seats where comfy plus Arsenal match was on the TV
