Tonight I read a newspaper article about Chelsea that really was a mindbender! Apparently, only on one occasion since the end of World War 2, has there ever been a side that were league champions that had 2 players in the squad that were actually born on the same day! These were Raphael and Pablo de Silva of Man Utd in 2010! They were of course twins! However if the Blues take the PL this season a new first will occur as we will have John Obi Mikel and David Luiz, who were both born on April 22nd 1987! I never knew this before, but what an amazing fact, don't you think?
Ah that's the problem Abu, Malbec, from Argentina or Chile?? Known to be a depressive. Try a Cote de Rhone or a 2nd growth Bordeaux, ,puts a bigger smile on your face especially after 6 or more glasses !!
Well it's a first for us. By the way, who is the oldest . This will require dealing with times of birth, place and local time differences. Actually forget it, lets call it a draw and have another glass of what does you good !!!Cheers to you and Abu, 2 of our regular posters who avoid insults..Has it stopped raining yet BM2?? Mad world, we are gagging for rain, you've had enough for 2 lifetimes. Hope its OK in June when I'm back in London !!
Love Malbec. CP. you must have some cash if you are drinking deuxieme crus.... (although I do have some Seglas for special occasions, that I bought when Vialli was manager!)
CP-Interesting you comment about the weather! The whole world is going through weird weather extremes recently, North America with record snow, Australia with record high temperatures and us with our record rainfalls! However we've not seen a drop for about a week now and nearby where I live in Kent, we hit 20.5C on Sunday which is almost unheard of in early March(still winter). Perhaps we'll have snow in July! BTW--I've got a nice bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape ready for din-dins tonight!
2nd growth bordeaux, Seglas, Chateau neuf du pape....pretentious gits ! Guinness for me, your only man !!!
EC, here in Oz, you pay no tax on your retirement superanuation earnings, no death duties, no inheritance tax, no gift taxes. And overseas internet shopping is exempt up to a value of $1000, not per year but per purchase !!! All done to get the baby boomers off the Government payroll when they retire. So now I can afford the odd bottle of good wine. About the only good thing about being over 60.
Well it's a Montepulciano D'Abruzzo for me tonight, only one bottle though I have to drive to Watford/Harrow in the morning. A place called Bentley Priory. They orchestrated the battle of Britain from there, it was an RAF base, not a runway in sight though only £7 million houses.
Hang on--I like a drop of Guinness too! I'm a shareholder and have spent many a good day in their Dublin Brewery! Doesn't mean to say I cant enjoy a glass of red vino!
Abu, is that the summer residence in Bentley priory ? 7 million.....a better class of posters on the Chelsea forum !!!
I wish...Me, just working on the site, The Garages (3 car) are bigger than my house, and they have swimming pools attached with like a gym/viewing area above, yeah two storey buildings just for fun. All sold too, lots of money in North London/Harrow. (They aint all in Isreal).
