To be fair he came across and made what points he could make very well. As an outsider, I know who I side with in the Tan/Malky debate.
Anyhow, onwards and upwards
I understand a lot of the criticism of Kim falling down because it is so annoying, but I do think he gave an overall solid performance. A bit too much love for Noone I feel. The guy needs to look up and pass the ball sometimes. In the space of 15 minutes he made 3 nice runs into dangerous positions and totally ignored team mates around him. He cost us a couple of very good chances on goal. He played well, but that is a glaring fault he has that often breaks down a promising attack.
If his pass selection was that good he'd be playing for a top 6 club. We wouldn't have won the game without him, MOTD and Goals on Sunday both picked him out as the player who gives us a chance of staying up.
To sum up I don't think you love Noone enough!
I will add that like any player there is room for improvement and I agree his decision making could be better at points, I remember one moment first half when KWJ was in acres of space and Noone took on a 35 yard shot which annoyed me. Having said that maybe he did see it was Kenwyn and decided he had a better chance from 30 yards than KWJ from 15............
It's true that a few of our players hold the ball for too long, we get it stolen off us because they fail to pass it on quickly enough.
It's ok to have a go alone sometimes, but a few of our players don't seem to be able to see when it's a good time to do that and when it isn't.
We need to get a quicker passing game going because we lose the ball too often needlessly.

Nothing wrong with Noone or anyone else for that matter having a pop - it's a question of recognising the best option. Mutch had a few lashes on Saturday which could be described as speculative at best - maybe trying to emulate his goal at their place wasn't the right thing at the time.
The only problem with Nooney in particular is that he doesn't get his head up and look around him when he's on a run. Eye on the ball, head toward goal and **** all else matters seems to be the plan. You can tell he's going to have a bang at goal as soon as he cuts inside.
If he could add "looking up and laying off" the ball to his armoury, he'd give us another dimension up front. There've been a number of times when he's looked a bit selfish, but at least it shows he's got confidence in his ability to crack one in.

For some reason the highlights from this game were on a TV station here last night and from the highlights it looked a good game, it had English sub-titles for some reason?
Championship stuff Taff to be honest. Fulham were dreadful and we took advantage to gain some confidence as well as points.
Still say we don't close down on the oppositon quickly enough. They're allowed to come forward into the danger zone and that's where Medel earns his corn - he was outstanding.
An unfit Mutch and a Korean bloke who kept falling over (sorry Stevo
) couldn't dig the ball out and distribute it enough for me. Noone was very entertaining and put a lovely cross in for our third goal, though he's a little optomistic with his shooting sometimes.Campbell out wide left was a bonus defensively for Declan behind him, and Kenwyne through the middle was.......well Kenwyne.

I agree 100% about the closing down, we're not even close to nasty or cynical enough either. We give away so few free kicks and receive so few bookings (other than good old Kim getting stuck in....
). We hardly ever 'take' a booking to stop an attack in it's tracks and we dont come close to kicking the oppositions best players enough. Look at the way Hull and Fulham kicked the **** out of Noone (with varying success). We never do that.
Did you know Kim ran further than any other player in the Premier league against Fulham. 7.9 miles apparently. Still he seems a bit light weight to me.
