I am watching the Scottish Cup QF game between Raith Rovers and St Johnstone (closet Raith fan), and bugger me - Lee Croft is playing for St Johnstone! I had no idea he went north of the border <yikes>

One of the most embarrassing moments in the clubs history.

Lee Crofts, player of the season.

    Chosen by the fans :emoticon-0149-no:

I still think they should have given it to the fans that year.

I'm not sure i did find it funny when QPR gave theirs to the fans the year they went down. Might have got a few outside laughs

Should have been Sammy Clingan. I remember being in traffic on the way to the game when it was announced and no one could believe it. I can only assume that after such a dire season no one could be bothered to vote.

Yep. I remember Clingan being one of the better performers of that awful season - that's not saying a lot though.

On a similar topic of not going forwards, my dad and I were reminiscing the other day about how Jon Otsemobor, when attacking the Barclay, would always get as far as level with our seats in the Jarrold (about 1/3 of the way into the oppo half) and stop. Every. Single. Time. It's like he suddenly realised where he was and felt lost and out of his depth.

Just goes to show what a load of old tat we had on the books then - frightening because it isn't that long ago. Crofts in Scotland and the last I heard Clingan couldn't find a Club. Otsemobor was without a club but I'm sure I saw he scored for a Conference club the other night. Anybody fancy doing a ' where are they now ' on that squad?
