6-0...5-0...5-1...4-0 and 3 nil...all conceded 3 goals in final 20 mins

oh and can levy stop picking our managers

Hold on, I thought Dawson is the slow liability, don't tell me Jan 'he can play for Barca' Vertonghen isn't as good as some believe.

Woezil played out of his skin after being roundly booed by German fans, and he did it against Everton in a cup game.

I have every confidence that Woezil will sink back into the mire of anonymity when Arsenal play the big boys in the league.

The only reason you'll finish 4th this season, and not 5th, is because United decided to get rid of Fergie and replace him with an utter clown.
 
Verts is an average defender, if as a fan you focus more on his tricks or attacking ability then you can be tricked into thinking he's a good defender but in terms of actual defending, he is average.

Same applies to his mate at the goons, vermaelen, another average defender who is more known for his attacking quality.

Both Belgium. Both over rated and if Verts impresses at the world cup then I'll be happy for him to be sold.
 
Vertonghen promises much, but has consistently failed to deliver at his 'alleged' level of expertise.
He looks slow and one-paced - if he was a forward you would call him a one-trick pony. His attitude in the pitch also does nothing to endear him to either his teammates or the fans.
Trouble is that we have little or no defensive cover, so telling him to just **** off really isn't an option at this stage of the season. But unless he suddenly shows an impressive improvement in performance and attitude over the next 2 months, I for one will not rue his departure in the summer.

Not sure about that. He's not much cop at left back, though! <laugh>

Vertonghen's a very decent defender and he's a good footballer, too. Not sure about his attitude though and he lacks pace and is too easily beaten in the air.
He'd probably benefit from playing alongside a quick, tall, aerially dominant centre-half who's right footed and can play a bit. You know, the one that we sold to Cardiff. <doh>
 
His attitude is shocking and is made worse by the fact he has talent
he gives it the mouth and delivers **** all
he has been **** this season especially in the past 5 or 6 weeks since hes made it known that he deserves CL football
 
He has the talent but he has been the main villain of "not buckling down and fighting" this season.
Dawson is not up to it either IMO. We're a ****ing mess. How we're 5th I have no idea. The football this season and the hammerings we've taken have been bottom half quality

Exactly! It's only because some of our competitors have contrived to be as **** as we are, that we are 5th...
 
IMO vertonghen is your best center back and one of the best in the league.

Is a great defence.
