Big ,big win, didn't expect that, fully deserved by all accounts ...roll on Blackpool and 3 pts to close the gap.....err what happened to Leeds ? Playoffs just a distant memory boys
Was a massive win for us against one of the best in the division and well needed as other results were going against us. Don't get too down about the Bolton result, we only managed to score once against them as well
Cellino pulling the plug on takeover makes administration even more likely with liquidation a lesser probability...but still a probability. Even if the above scenarios are avoided, Leeds will surely faced a transfer embargo from next january as part of FFP due to their losses of 1M per month this season
I'm not too down about the result, our season is over, has been for a few weeks, yours isn't though, you've got it all to do. it was a Saturday of freak results cos even the Wallies got a win, unfortunately so did your relegation rivals
If your season is over, then you are going down. What happened to us last season can easily happen to you and worse.
Nooo CONKER (head) you seem as tho you need a little bit of guidance, our season is over for promotion, ok! Now yours is very much on as you have to avoid the drop, which i dont think you shall, Barnsley were on live here and they outplayed Forest, Charlton have the games in hand, and not against good sides, which includes us. Now i think you have to go through March unbeaten to stay up, and i cannot see you doing that.
How do you work that out, bottom 4 are currently running at 3pts less than games played.which would give you 43pts from 46 games.Normally more points would be needed but this season the bottom 4 are very ****. 2012-3rd bottom 40pts 2011-3rd bottom 42pts 2007-3rd bottom 42pts If you need 55 your gone as you would need the form of Burnley to get that from your 12 games left. In your last 12 games you have 9pts,so on current form you will get 40pts.
Went to the Derby game. For the first 25 mins Lions were under the cosh. Then the team matched Derby and snuffed out anything they put together and most of the play was in midfield. Second half was more end to end until the goal and even then Lions looked more likely to score. As McLaren said, they could have played for another 2 hours and not scored. It wasn't a lucky win - but it's going to be a patched up team going to Blackpool. If Lions play like that they will survive.
I've resigned myself mate. If the truth be known, I've been preparing myself since Christmas Anyway, I have this nasty feeling it will be before May. Have you seen our run in?
