Crack arse jack, answer one question honestly, no bullshit no extra ****e just answer yes or no. Did swansea Town/city football club go into admin and pay pennies in the pound to all their creditors, or didn't they?
And if you can answer that honestly, answer this. how many times did they do it?
If you can't or won't answer that simple question, which only requires a one word answer, go away until you find out what the answer is.

20 mill is less than 50% of what you get when to make it to the Prem !

Couldn't resist a little wum but it seems like your board are up to something, and honestly, I hope they throw some money behind MM.
Hopefully we can meet again next year in the "English" Premiership.

It could be £100 million, how much is available means little if you can't get the quality needed and afford the inflated wages. I mean wtf is it with the hammers allegedly paying Nolan £55k per week!!
If Malky can get some of the youngsters coming through and spend wisely the coming season will not see us a promotion contenders but I believe a top half side. I would be happy with that to be fair. The season after will see all championship sides sign up to the UEFA fair pay initiative and that's when everyone has a part to play. Not convinced about Malky just yet but he will get my 100% backing. I just wonder how long before the Jones out brigade become the Malky out brigade. I think it's going to be a tough season for us :(

Cardiff are slowly paying off PROVEN debts, and questioning the validity of others, once they have been proven then the club will make arrangements to pay them............even though they were incurred by a previous administration.

Compare this to the jax, they go into admin and rip people off not just once but twice <doh> Then the jax bleat "that wasn't us that was a previous administration" the admin kings of Welsh football holding themselves up as model of financial propriety, and their fans are stupid enough to swallow it.

Cardiff City had a lot of financial problems, most of which have been cleared up, and the rest are being addressed. Cardiff are acting honourably............where as when swansea had problems................well they just ran away, with no thought for the people they were ripping off. Before you get on your high horse get pikey fc to pay back all the people they've ripped off and pay your rent. until then you have no room to talk.............although I don't suppose that will stop you <doh>

This muppet just don’t get it does he, even if his synopsis is right (I think it is wrong) the only person that affects is an ex-chairman of the club. When Swansea Town went **** up twice it was the little people who bore the brunt, like the OAP couple from Uplands whose council tax went up or the local printer, milkman etc etc and still they try to get out of paying rent. A Prem club letting little old ladies pay their rent for them in increased council tax makes the JERKS proud.

You think the club got through the whole of last season without spending any money? No wages, nothing? And why do you think anyone's going to "invest" £20m? Even if Malky gets £20m to spend over the course of the season (which there's no reason to believe unless you think every rumour in a newspaper is true), lots of that would come from ticket sales etc - it doesn't all have to be put in by a third party.

The only place i've seen £20m quoted was on a Carl "Update" on AAMB.

'nuff said.

I dont know why i read them, I just do. Also, it makes me really cringe to see his fan clubs gushing comments after each one. Embarressing.

(can AA ban me from here?! <yikes> )

:steam:The only reason i asked about the £ 20 million for this seasons investment was that if that money was invested last season on buying decent players and not wasting money on high wage loanees then cardiff city would have been in a better position this season.
Money wasted on loanees last season will never come back but good and sensible purchases would have set the club up well for an honest challenge this season.
Putting all your eggs in one basket last season was a huge gamble that obviously never paid off.

Was the decision last season to get loan players purely down to DJ bad management or was he ordered to supply a quick fix and try and get to the top flight.

I don't know how much our budget will be, but I would think we have a pretty decent one if it tempted Mackay across, and judging from what he was saying about the clubs aims he must feel the backing is there.
I would also think that if we are challanging , and the team is playing in the right spirit, more backing will be made available come Januaury.
Quite a bit has been freed up in wages with players leaving and loan players returning to their club.
In my mind it is unthinkable that we will start the season with anything but a top 6 finish in mind, and for that you need the pennies.
Except for Bellemy you would have to think high wage players will be a No-No and we have seen what happens with Loan players when you have too many, they don't have the need or passion when it comes down to the final fight.
£20 million seems about right when all is taken into consideration, wages being the bulk of that.
Malky must have talked the talk in what his proposals were regarding players and cost of said players, because we have to work within a frame that gives us a good chance, without breaking us if its not going our way.

I think any talk of a set amout is rubbish anyway.
They may have given him a framework to inform his choices but do you think that when he is on 19.5 million and he gets a player he wants for 600K that they will say "No you've only got £500K left?
It, or what ever figure, is just a guideline, and will undoubtedly be reassessed as the season goes on, when they see how many shirts they are selling both here and in Malasia, when they see how many extra bums are on seats as a result of MMs buy ins, and where we might be in relation to promotion in the Jan transfer window.
Nothing is laid down and it is quite possible they don't even know how much themselves yet.
