So this is what's it's going to be until the rest of the season???

A bunch of childish ****ing ****ers who all know next to **** all about football (on the basis that they don't have careers in football) squabbling about something they have no control over whilst derailing every ****ing thread that gets posted. What a bunch of pricks!

Feel free to issue a ban if I've breached the rules because I won't be back until August you whiney ****ing tossers.

Half of you pricks wish Monk no success because of your personal beliefs and some of you probably wish we would get relegated to prove the other half right. The rest of you are so happy that the twitchy finger on the Board's gun fired Laudrup, you're all ****ing over the idea that a swansea legend may actually be adequate to do the job.

All the while, none of us can move on and accept the fact that we may stay up and have to plan for the future because you're all having a great, big, homoerotic pissing contest to see who's the biggest ****.

This was a thread about the U21 Spanish squad and one of our own doing well. Twats!

I am finding it hard not to agree, even though I have been involved.

However I wish Monk well, and I wish ML stayed, I am in the middle, but I won't say nothing when people are there slating ML's record. Hence my involvement, but am fully behind Monk at the same time.

    Back on topic.

Amat has great potential. In fact, when he has played alongside Chico he has been pretty solid, as good if not better than Ash. I have heard he can also play full-back .... I think that was mentioned officially when he arrived last summer. This I would like to see. He would probably be better than Taylor, Rangel or Davies and since he is technically very good, would be an offensive threat down the wing as well.

BTW, against Palace, he was goal-side of the Palace forward, beating him by a good 2 or 3 yards to the ball before Vorm committed suicide and Amat backed off to avoid a collision.

I am surprised that Pique is not featuring in the Spanish senior team this week. I'd like to think that Amat was a long shot to make the World Cup squad and if he played regularly for us the odds would shorten considerably.

Shaper in a pissing competition I had a stream like a horse while Dai, who suffers with his ageing prostrate could only manage a dribble from his little acorn.

I love the posts that moan about going off topic while they are going off topic!... <laugh>

Amat has done very well since coming here and as correctly pointed out wasnt really at fault for the goal either ,but i maintain that it was a shame that we couldn't have rested Ash and just started with the boy against Palace, i dont see the reason for benching him if ash was up all night ill,the boy must be wondering if he has done something wrong or is out of favour when its exactly these types of situations that he is needed for .

He is a well capable player and many were prefering him to Chico a few months back, sitting on the bench at Swansea will be ok as long as he gets his chance now and again , it would have been great for Ash to get rest and recover IMO as unfit or unwell players are a risk for getting injured, why take the chance ?

Amat under monk should be able to develop his game and progress,he has all the tools to do the job ,he will however need to be played enough not to be un happy, im not suggesting for one minute that he is and im sure he will feature highly under monk in midfield or defence , but if he is going to be rubbing shoulders with top players in Spain on a regular basis he is going to want to eventually want more game time and could well be a target for other teams.

Its kind of a good problem to have though i think :)

Now we have all these Spanish internationals and we play the Barcelona, erm, Swansea way, wouldn't it be great if Real and Barca sent all their loanees our way to keep them sharp :emoticon-0142-happy

Agree, it would be a fantastic idea but maybe the spanIsh clubs are weary of losing talent to the premier league.

Martinez got a guy but I'm not sure how many others are in the prem on loan.

Have to admit it, I'm surprised that Laudrup never went in and got some up and comers on loan from Barca or RM, especially a striker.

The same thought crossed my mind from time to time,Valley.I presumed that "up and comers from Barca/RM" would have been prohibitively expensive, even if available.

Hence cheap options like Sheckter and Vasques.

Still, all is not lost. Now we can rely on Garry Monk's contacts.
