Like Victor, Lovren needs game time in order to get back to fitness/form. The main difference is that for Victor has real quality competition for his place from Cork but Lovren hasn't got that level of competition. Even a 90% fit Lovren is as good as Maya and better than Jos.

Lovren just seems to read the game a hell of a lot better. A Lovren with two wooden legs would be as good as Yoshida and Jos.

This! Yoshida made a mistake which led to goal against West Ham, so he didn't exactly look like he was good enough to replace Fonte.

Did I refer Fonte dallying on the ball to the first goal? No I f**king didn't so don't imply that I did. I was referring to the 2nd half when he spent too long on the ball and Suarez dispossessed him. I didn't even suggest that the first goal was his fault.
 
All I haven't started a match thread after our home defeat. I assumed Tom or DTLW would have posted one by now. Happy to do one tomorrow morning if no-one else steps up.
