Six Manchester City fans turned up at Wembley for their League Cup final win over Sunderland with tickets for the wrong match.

What twats!
When you've done as much crack cocaine as the average Manc it is probably very difficult to read the ticket. I think they should be congratulated for actually finding Wembley.

What match did they have tickets for?

Edit, seen Notsos link now. Like the fact that culprit was named and shamed.

According to the Metro article Notso posted:

"Instead of buying tickets to watch the cup final with Sunderland, they had tickets for the Premier League match between he two clubs at the Etihad Stadium on February 12 which was called off because of a waterlogged pitch."

<laugh> Bellends!

Probably wondered why Wembley had a Colin Bell Stand

It says a lot that Gareth Bale being allowed to play 90 minutes in a friendly is considered a news story.

Happened all the time when he played for us and it was never a news headline...

They are desperate to make a story about Bale because he is one of Britains top players but as he now plays in Spain we are not that interested.

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil, 25, has been warned by Germany coach Joachim Low that "the clock is ticking" on his World Cup hopes.

Even the Germany manage thinks Woezil is a massive flop!

Charlie Adam's appeal rejected. Banned for 3 matches for violent conduct. Maybe officials will watch this nasty twat a bit more closely from now on!...

Don't know how that twat had the front to appeal in the first place!

I think it's a ridiculous decision, to be honest. He was looking away from the player and he's got away with far, far worse challenges on our players without censure.
His stamp on Paulinho's ankle was fine, apparently: https://vine.co/v/hVm5zdYrZ0B

One could suggest that it is the 'victim' - or rather the victims club - that determines whether the FA/PL take action..... Bias by the authorities??? shurely shum mishtake!! <whistle>

Oh, come on! This is Charlie Adam we're talking about. You can bet your life it was intentional! Whatever his previous, I'm just glad the bastard has finally been nailed. Hopefully, it will be even worse sanctions when he does it again. Because do it again, he will!...

It's possible that it was intentional, but there's absolute no doubt in anyone's mind that Toure's petulant kick against Norwich was, yet he escaped a ban.
There's no consistency.

I can't argue that Toure shouldn't have been punished, but Adam has so much previous that he's gotten away with, that I'm just glad to see justice catch up with him at last.

Even after he's stamped on Paulinho's ankle he kicks out at his leg.

What I hate to see though is that Stoke are sticking up for him once again. They should be pissed off with their best outfield player getting himself banned for a moment of petulance.
