Our initial fee for Bale was £5m plus what was estimated to be another £5m in add-ons. Part of it was a 25% sell-on clause. I don't get it. Drainage was a problem solved in the 18th century; dig trenches, add pipes with holes, drain down to a reservoir (lake) or river. Why go for artificial when 90% sand will do? Sand is cheap, cheap, cheap. I don't get it.
