I think it's more to do with our past, not covered in glory is it. There are many who would like to go back to the bad old days.
I'm sorry guys, but this is yet again just another stick inadvertantly provided by Tan for the media to bash us over the head with. Can't see what's wrong in Tan wanting to do everything possible for the club to stay in the Prem next season. It's nice to see him trying to use his personal wealth to achieve it. The problem seems to be he's using his wealth for a brain rather than seeking advice. He's obviously stupidly infringed the rules regarding offering bonuses (inducements) to players, but I doubt even he's not daft enough to think he could get away with it if he knew that before hand. He's been hopelessly out of touch with reality in this business. To say he's a loose cannon at the club is a massive understatement providing fodder for the ever-waiting media frenzy. If it's humanly possible for him to step back and use those around him with necessary knowledge instead of blundering in, we could see the real benefits of his comittment to the club rather than be sidetracked all the time by the joke character he's portraying. Where was Dalman in all this - he's the football brain after all? Did Tan even consult him with this proposal before he opened his gob and came out with it? Tan needs to move away from this belief that his wealth allows him to do what he likes in football generally. It's bad enough that he can do what he likes with the club he owns without dragging it through the press with adverse publicity, because they'll always be there ready to pounce.

Premiership are now to investigate cardiff thoroughly even though tan had to quickly withdraw the illegal bonus offer. What is the matter with this guy. He had better hope they dont find any dodgy dealings since he has been at cardiff or they will come on down heavy on tan and the football club. Someone should tell him you cant buy everything as there are rules to abide with and thats why he has staff to advise him, saying that they probably did but he ignored them until someone at the club did the right thing and informed the premiership.....Its one thing after another with him that is not good for the club...
Dai - you come out with some pearlers on times, but how the **** do you know that. You have no evidence at all that that was the case and are once again just pissing in the wind. You are welcome to post on here and your sentiments are probably sound, but keep it to the facts pal and stop with the made up crap.
