I won't wear the red, but this man is turning my face crimson with anger and embarrassment. It's now emerged that he offered bonuses before the Spurs game, something which even I knew was not allowed. AN apology has been made because 'he didn't know the rules', a statement which could probably be applied not only to his knowledge of the rules regarding bonuses, but to the game itself. And as for his advice to 'shoot more'. I was under the impression that he was going to leave the managing of the team to OGS, but it appears that he simply can't.

I've paid for next season's ticket, and I've always been one to make a lot of noise, but I'm pretty close to breaking point. Newport is just down the road.

Sorry to interrupt, I didn't want to start a new thread and the picture's from the Daily Mail article on the inducement. I just wanted to say thanks for the support and good luck.

Give him time Glam. When you see the transfers he personally makes next season you might change your mind. <laugh>

Two things worry me about this (if true).

1) Where was his advisers ?
2) Who told the press ?

1) Where was his advisers ?

In the back keeping quiet, who is going to miss out on a bonus?

2) Who told the press ?

I'm going to guess it wasn't the advisors or players!

When jelly flan stands in front of players at spontaneous meetings and demands "shoot", to a man they should retort "shut!' :emoticon-0103-cool:

In fairness I did think Marshy would get on the goal sheet on Sunday. Perhaps he's trying to silence City fans about not scoring.

It's true, alright. They've apologised for the action. As for advisers. I don't think he's that bothered about taking any. He's surrounded by sycophants.

Who told the press... Well, word gets out about that sort of thing very easily... It's something you simply can't stop. Too many people involved; too many ears close to the ground, and in Cardiff's case, listening very carefully for any juicy stories.

The man should shut up... But he won't, of course. As the psychiatrist in 'Faulty Towers' said of Basil Faulty, "There's enough material there for an entire conference.'

Why I put (if true) on my last post is because there is nothing this morning on the BBC Wales sport page.

They are normally first to put the boot in, just made me think that's all.

On a side note. Doesn't it speak volumes about the players at our club. Motivated now only by money to put in a much improved performance. Greedy or what?

Is Tanism spreading?

I think we can safely say that greed has been a factor with players a long time before Tan arrived in football.

Yes, I can see it's there now.

Must admit though I did not know it was illegal to offer bonus payments other than at the start of the season.

Chip paper story at its very best. Ignore it, I am. We are a Welsh side in the beloved EPL (EWPL) and they will do anything to hound us out, and sort of story on Tan is going to get headlines as they revel in trying to make us squirm, when i read it i just smiled and carried on eating my toast, and i will wrap the crusts in this story and put it in the food waste bin where it belongs.
