Previous winners:

August: 1. McCormack 2. Austin/Pearce tied
September: 1. Austin 2. McCormack 3. Wootton
October: 1. Mowatt 2. Smith 3. McCormack/Austin tied
November: 1. McCormack.
December: 1. Zaliukas 2. McCormack 3. Smith
January: 1. McCormack 2. Brown/Byram tied

McCormack won last month and we can really see how important he is to our team, he has been in the top 3 of every single month so far and has also won it 3 months out of the 6.

Not actually that bad a month of football for us (QPR game happened this month so doesn't count). Picked up 7 points out of a possible 12 and for a bad run that ain't that bad. Compare that to January when we didn't even get a win at all and it is an improvement especially when you consider 3 out of our 4 games were away from home.

Leeds 5 - 1 Huddersfield
Yeovil 1 - 2 Leeds
Brighton 1 - 0 Leeds
Middlesborough 0 - 0 Leeds

I think there could be a few players to pick from this month, having only conceded 3 goals its easy to make a case for Pearce who I actually think has been excellent all season and probably our 2nd best player. McCormack also scored 4 goals in 4 games so he makes a case for himself, I think Warnock has been pretty good as well going both ways.

I doubt Kebe will be getting too many votes...

Rosco JUST gets the nod from me. Pearce once again has been a true leader at the back. But goals win you games but Pearce 'dowg' couldnt have run him closer this month IMO <ok>

Yea, only reason I went for Pearce was because Ross looked a bit off at Boro' and I didn't see the Brighton game but I heard he was quiet. So essentially he was only effective in 2 games.

Who voted for Butland, he only played 1 game

McCormack for me - Without him we would be in a relegation fight this season, yes I know this is a monthly poll but we have been poor this month and I don't think anyone deserves to be called a "player of the month"

That was me, but he played great in that game
