Here, there, everywhere.
I wish we were back in the Premier League, up at the top level. I love being in the Championship, it's so much more 'real' at this level.

I wish the players had 'heart' like Kevin, Gino and Furs did in League One. I wish our players were as technically good as Aguero, Ronaldo and Messi.

I really want an experienced, level headed manager, who knows what he is doing. To be honest, wouldn't it be fantastic to have a young hungry manager who has something to prove?

Loftus Road, it's a bit out of date isn't it? We need a new shiny stadium that can seat 40k. Loftus Road, it has so much character which all of these new grounds can never match.

I want our club to be as big as Man United, and have a global fanbase. I hate the fact our club signs players with commercial interests as well as football interests in mind.

Doesn't it get to you that our manager persists with playing certain players? I wish we had a consistent starting XI like Burnley and Leicester.

Winning is all that counts, anything else is a bonus. At this level, we should be winning by three goals at least to some at the bottom!

After coming down from the Premier League in such a disgraceful style, I'd be happy with a stable season this year. We must go up, anything else is a failure.

I just hate the fact that Hoilett always runs into his man! I get so annoyed that X never seems to try and take someone on.

We really should be developing a better youth system and infrastructure. I just don't know why we didn't shell out for three extra £4m players in January.

I really love QPR, nothing will ever change that.

I haven't posted the above to annoy anyone, or have a dig. Most of those statements are valid on both sides! I think I've found myself saying most of those things over the course of this season. Funny how fickle I am, except of course, for that last statement! I guess my point, if indeed there is one, is that I think we do all want what's best for QPR, and probably all hold some conflicting viewpoints, but that's life, and we should enjoy it.

Come on you R's!

Great post raving, very funny and also so true. One of the reasons I stayed off of here after yesterdays game was the frustration of posting one thing on one thread and a conflicting view on another. It's enough to dive a usually sane man mad. :emoticon-0110-tongu
 
Excellent OP Raving, the conundrums of being an R summed up perfectly. We all moan on here about one thing or another, it's because we love OUR club and feel so passionately about it. It's also why it isn't worth falling out with each other over various posts, we all have the same hopes and dreams and seeing them falling away at the moment stirs the passions...
 
Been there and know what you guys are going through. So many conflicting emotions. Something that the plastics would never understand. We found out that you cant throw money around at this league, and you cant live with too many loan players. Unfortunately, it has taken us 10 years plus a relegation, with a manager who takes no ****, with a young hungry side with a healthy dose of experience waiting to get on the pitch. We proved at your place that we win games that maybe we shouldnt, but this is down to a togetherness of spirit that the manager and coaching staff have created (plus a superbly taken goal by Vardy). I wanted Pearson gone when we slumped last season - I was wrong. Good luck for the rest of the season - enjoy whatever you can and shrug away any disappointments.

Hello foxes. Thank you for your understanding and sympathy. It does indeed seem that you have learnt similar lessons to those that we need to learn. You would think that with the money in football, they would hire enough brains to learn the lessons from those who have already learnt them, but alas no! Best of luck in the PL next year, but as you well know, it can seem a lot less enjoyable than the Championship at times!

Just heightened expectations, without a long-term plan on how to formulate a revival of our club.

Hated the PL - after the euphoria of 2010/11 it was the biggest come down and one of the most depressing periods in recent years. Perhaps not as bad as the depths of Div 1, but the relentless cycle of hope and disappointment is hard to take week after week.

I still want us to go up (though I don't think we will, and I'm not sure we should) - but we would need to go up as a team with spirit, togetherness and fire in our bellies for the fight. I see that in teams like Burnley and Leicester, but I just can't see that with our lot. I would be content to be a yo-yo club for a few seasons if it means building a stable base to move upwards - and working with a blend of experience and youth to bring on some of our own, home-grown players.

The expectations of the owners are in part to blame, but they have been advised by 'football people' who are happy to walk away with a payoff for failing. If there is anything that we can learn from the last couple of years it's that people will tell you what you want to hear it if they can make money out of it.

I think the Foxes and Burnley will do well in the PL if they don't try to evolve too quickly - Britton of Swansea was playing with them in the 4th tier and is still part of the squad in the PL - there is not a club in the land that would have bought him to play in the PL and yet he is there and performing. Our route was to pay vast wages to ex-PL pros who didn't give a **** about the club, and frankly should have been ashamed to turn up every week to collect their wages.

I wonder when (or if) the penny will drop for TF & Co...

Very well written Barwellfox, one has to be a true football fan to understand the emotions that us supporters go through.

I know exactly how you feel <laugh>

When we were first bought by Mandaric, we were hoping for good things. It was nice to have some money after being skint for so long!

But all we got for our troubles was a season in League One...

And then the Thai's bought us, and expectations raised again... It's only now that we are being more prudent with our money (maybe a result of FFP), that things have clicked on the pitch.

I want us to go up, I want us to sack Redknapp but that will only happen if we don't go up.

I just want a team who attacks, play enjoyable football and plays with pride. I also want a team for the future and not once with an average age of 31. I also want us to bring players up through the youth system.

Redknapp is incapable of doing any of that which is why sacking him is more important than promotion.
 
I simply want Rangers to play Rangers football again at the highest level ... get rid of the crass current livery... bury the last three years in a tramp's **** sock

I want our kit and ID restored, a brilliant new team full of the QPR ethic. I want a back four that is quick and agile and are all Paul Parkers Rufus Brevetts or Clive Wilsons. I want a leader in the Middle like Macker who puts his life on the line every ball. I need Taarabt at Number 10 served by Faurlin. I want Dave Thomas back in the side.
I want Loic Remy and maybe Austin up front

I want all our players to wear black boots and have their socks rolled down

I want Adidas for 25 years to do our kits which are always uniformed hoops just different colours. These colours never change: blue red and green ... we wear solid white sometimes
 
None of our aspirations are being fulfilled right now so I don't see any conflict. Personally I would accept any one of the following for the rest of the season:
Play good football
Play with passion
Win on a regular basis
Be adventurous and score goals
