I think it's fair to say Hamilton is more of a car breaker than Rosberg is. This year that could come into effect.
Most of Hamilton's problems have come following Rosberg running the car. Rosberg breaking the car for Hamitlon so he gets less time in the car! Smart cookie!
He's the one who's broken the gearbox, so maybe it's his fault and not Rosberg's? He's known to be one of if not the most aggressive driver on the grid.
He hadn't sat in the car this morning before the gearbox broke. I know some like to pin the blame on him for most things, unless it can be put on Whitmarsh instead, but even that one I think he's innocent! I'd blame Whitmarsh.
Another red flag straight after it went green, Alonso this time. Are they all breaking down because they are trying to up the power seeing as it is the last day?
Didn't Hamilton say the team asked him to drive the car as hard as possible to see what breaks so they know what problems they could encounter so they could fix them before the first race? That makes sense to me. It makes no sense handling the car like a baby then in the races it breaks when u try to push it. It makes perfect sense to wring its neck now and see what breaks, fix that and be ready for the races.
Good mileage from Caterham but the car doesn't look that great to be honest. Still, if they finish the race then who knows where they could finish.
Finishing may be enough for points in the early races. For Caterham and Marussia, they may as well make sure they qualify, then turn the engines down for the race, or cut great holes in the bodywork for cooling and just trudge round at the back waiting for everyone in front to fail.
