Good defensive player but saying he is great on the ball is a gigantic exaggeration . The team is better with him if Sherwood plays our one creative player.
LOL! You are funny! If The Beast had stayed fit, we would have given you a fair old spanking. Goofy, for one, would have had some casual violence meted out to him and wouldn't have been quite so effective.
Yes, 1-0. That's what I was going to say, too. And, of course, with the score so closely poised, had The Beast not got injured, it's probable that we would have taken something from that match. The Beast would most certainly taken a piece of Goofy with him.
Oh wow, if he was injured early on and Liverpool were already winning 1-0, imagine how many Liverpool could of scored had Sandro played full 90 minutes!
I wouldn't describe Sandro as a beast. For me, that implies a certain thuggish thoughtlessness. I would prefer to distinguish him as having and displaying the character and attributes of a hero. In short he is a 'Heroic Gladiator'....... Respect is due Mate.
But isn't "The Beast" a nickname that has been given to him by other players? Surely, I haven't just dreamed this up! To the opposition, he's The Beast! To us, he's a hero. How about that?
Or, how about this... The Beast is his superhero name. Like The Thing, The Hulk, or Count Duckula. None of those blokes would like to be called those names if they didn't have super-powers. So, The Beast can be Sandro's superhero name; and he turns into The Beast only when he takes to the field to fight the good fight with his team. Hm. Perhaps I might be thinking too much into this whole concept.
There's only one 3 O'clock kick off I'm really concerned about., and that kicks off at 4. 30pm tomorrow. Thanks for the reminder all the same, SD
I find myself agreeing with HIAG for a change! Trouble is since he spends most of his life wumming I can't tell when he's being serious.
