If I had been a Villa fan
I´m not sure I´d be pleased,
With the rash of mind games they play
    Almost as if diseased

    Holt, Lambert then Holt again
    Seem more intent this week,
On buoying themselves up, so they
Can take the points they seek

    It reminds me so vividly
    When Cardiff lost the plot,
To get promoted with Dave Jones
They choked and we did not

He too was full of fighting talk
    To put the pressure on,
    But by half-time against ´Boro
They knew their chance had gone

    Mind games are no speciality
    Of Hughton C, we know,
    But actually I prefer that
    To managers who crow

To talk the talk might be okay
    For screwing up the heat,
But that won´t help a bit unless
They can talk with their feet

    And also after mouthing off
If one should fail to win,
You really can be lost for words
    Or know where to begin

So let´s hope all this energy
    They´re using in pre-match,
To tell us just how well they´ll do
Will fail them on their patch. OTBC

Hi RBF bor, mind games. Reminds me of when Gobby Cowling tried to get the FA to deduct us 10 points for signing Lambert and co. Often wonder if they spent the compensation wisely. LOL.

Regards to Muttley. How is he doing ?

    Afternoon NORKIE, Muttley well, ta´
As is his master and chief,
But how we would be way above par
If Sunday Villa come to grief. :)

Every day my opinion of Paul Lambert sinks lower and lower. I wonder if Hucks for manager would still have him "back in a heartbeat?"
