Nicky Henderson, Paul Nicholls and all of the other trainers, should boycott the Gold Cup if Last Instalment is allowed to run: Agree or Disagree?

Disagree. If I had a runner that I felt was capable of reaching a place in the Gold Cup, I wouldn't hand over my chance to someone else. If Last Instalment is allowed to run I would be fairly certain that the horse was clear. Whether or not the horse runs would make no difference to my participation.

Disagree, it would be an irony if LI beat Nicky Henderson's charge with the drug story.

Shouldn't really be an issue should it - test the ****er tomorrow and you'll have the results by Tuesday next week. If he's clean he runs, if not he stays home.

the benefits of steroids remain long after traces can be found--hence its popularity --racing has had a very lenient time regards drug testing--the cover up about al zarooni beggars belief--in uae-- its rife among the endurance horses ---its obvious to me that lots of shady things go on in yards --and the omerta forbids anyone to talk...

I watched a horse win at Sedgefield, last month. He'd been off the course for nearly three years and he won by 30 lengths, on heavy ground!!

    They're all at it!!!

The way to resolve this as stated by Oddy above is ensure a drugs test takes place prior to the Gold Cup. If its clean then everything is in order. If Fenton's horse does win - will be interesting to see the media coverage.

If they are all at it then shouldn't they all be stopped from running?

Who among us believes that elite racing is for the most part, clean? I think I've read on a number of occasions that drug detection is about 10 years behind the times. This is why samples among athletes are kept for years.
