People's Republic of Croydon
GK: Lloris
RB: Walker
CB: King
CB: Woodgate
LB: Rose
RW: Lennon
CM: Sandro
CM: Modric
LW: Bale
CF Berbatov
CF: Defoe

Subs: VDV, Keane, Huddlestone, Poyet, Crouch

...seriously? We've never had a better left back than Rose at any point Defoe's been that the club? Yikes!

Wow!

What a kick in the bollocks for so many players!

Well done, Jermaine... not!

Berbatov and Defoe didn't actually work as a front pairing, IIRC. He'd actually be dropped from his own XI for Keane! <laugh>

He's clearly chosen mates over better players. Would sub Woody for Dawson, Rose for Lee YP and Defoe for VDV. Arguably Robbo in his prime for Lloris also.

I'd have agreed with pretty much all of that bar the Rose selection. YP Lee, Ekotto and even an out of position Chimbonda were better at LB. He had to stick himself in the XI over Rafa and Keano. King and Woody were definitely the best CB's & CB pairing (when bloody fit!) while he was here. The on form Robbo makes it a tough choice between him and Hugo but I would agree with JD and just give it to the Frenchman. RB would have been a tough call, Corluka was fantastic defensively though Walker has the edge going forward.
