I think you Cardiff fans can finally appreciate how massive a gap 7 points really is. All them years of taking the piss calling us boring boring swansea... How much would you give right now to play a style that will keep you up then help you push on?
Yes we were boring first season, since then we've won a cup and played in Europe. You may not admit it but you guys would kill to have our seasons under your belt. You're going down and you know it.

Last time I looked it was a 3 point gap, but whatever.

Not sure where the 7 point gap you mention fits in to all this, unless you're talking about the gap between you lot and us at 6 points, with your superior goal difference making up the seventh.

I don't see the point of your post swams-m, unless you're on the wind up. Most of us are focusing on what we need to do to stay in this division and that's all that matters. Apart from the obvious local rivalry, what you do is irrelevant.

All City fans want is to see some decent football and our team compete.
What that has got to do with swansea is beyond me. If Swansea were that good then they would be competing for the top 4. They are not and you know they never will be.
City may well be going down but don't for one millisecond think any City fan is envious of swansea as you infer.

we're certainly up against it, and objectively speaking as of this moment in time our chances are less than 50-50, but as sparky says we're 3 points from safety and there will be plenty of twists and turns between now and the end of the season. swans m may even grow a 3rd brain cell, you never know......<laugh>

I have come to terms with the (very)likely scenario of being a championship next season and with that I am relishing the next load of games we have coming up.
I want to see this team start to play good football and start scoring. It's a case of having nothing to lose now.
Should we happen to escape the drop it will be like winning the championship all over again, but if we don't so be it. Relagation hasn't reared it's head for many a year, but it's better to be relagated from the championship, should it happen, than from division 3.
Still a chance and that's what makes these coming games exciting, live in the moment guys, it's what football is all about.

Phil - that's a very simplistic approach even from a simpleton like you. Anyone can beat anyone else on the day in this division - the fact that Norwich beat them last weekend means bugger all to us and is no pointer toward what will happen next Sunday.

Just to explain it to you, it goes like this. Norwich were in 17th spot on 25 points and just 3 points above us last Sunday - I wanted it to stay that way and nice 10-0 thrashing for them would have put their goal difference on a par with ours.

For your further information, Tottenham were in 5th spot and I have no interest whatsoever if they finish there, top or in mid table - get it son!!.......<laugh>

You old man, need to get out more!..................<laugh>

say sorry to the mad hatter quick as he is starting his threats again....or is this a smoke screen for him to use as an excuse to leave should cardiff not survive..

I know its early dai but bore off..............

ps I see us capital boys are still holding the record for euro adventures.......oh well that's your chance gone for another 30 yrs.

you did ok last night phil...........a bore fest apart from the last ten mins mind

I agree there was not the intensity of the first leg, and not the strongest of teams, seems we are focusing on PL survival if you ask me, in Monk we trust!...........<ok>

I hope you beat Palace but you are leaking goals for fun, can't see to helping us this weekend.
