Once again, I cannot see Balotelli wanting to miss CL football by signing for us, the Italian press are having a bit of a laugh aren't they? There's as much legs in that, as Wenger taking in a player of his....type! <whistle> he's wouldn't have such a risky player anywhere near his dressing room imo.

  7. If I were playing top-flight football, notso, they'd all sing "your knob's off-side..."

    Pochettino slips up:

Nice joke, but it makes a mockery of the interpreter being there in the first place. Stop pretending that you can't speak English! <grr>

Its an interesting point this, as i recall reading something somewhere that although he feels he has enough grasp to be basically understood, he's seen so many managers before misquoted in translation, he didn't and still doesn't want to fall foul of our unforgiving media, over one potentially dodgy sentence Can't blame him tbh.

I've heard a different story, Notso. His English is supposed to be pretty flawless, but pretending otherwise gives him an out for dodgy interviews and press mindgames.
He also can't give a rushed answer to any question, so each response is measured and well constructed.
It's pretty smart, but it's also a little shady.

  18. I always thought that Redknap would have benefited from an interpreter. Certainly, Spurs would have done.

Anyone seen the article on the Beeb website.

Maureen is complaining that Chelski have to play a league match against their noisy neighbours 3 days after a CL fixture<wah>
Come on Jose! - forgotten the time when Spurs had to play you lot 2 days after a euro game weren't complaining then were you!
