I think people have gone off on the wrong track with this courtesy of a well know but similarly incorrect TV show. In Room 101 are your worst fears which are not necessarily the things you hate most. Mine would be: One of the world's richest men taking over the scum and turning it to one of the world's top clubs An even richer group of people taking over QPR, failing to make a go of it and making us a laughing stock Someone starting a Room 101 strand and my not being able to think of a third category. Oh ****.
1 Young men who walk down the street with there chest puffed out staring at you coz they think there hard 2 Anyone who spits (gobs) while walking down the street, this really burns my fuse 3 QPR supporters who spend 90min swearing at and putting down our team or players during a game, even when we are doing ok.
How about the miss-use of the word "like" or people (often footballers) who punctuate their interviews with the constant use of the words "you know".
OPKs Namby-pamby lefties People that order an array of pretentiously complicated coffees (usually by saying 'can I get...' rather than 'please may I have...') when I'm standing there in a sort of hurry and wanting a simple 'black without'
Phil Beard Mark Hughes then its either the obvious...chelsea, or Paul Lambert(preferably on fire), but Im gonna go with jumpers that fitted last week.
"Celebrity" culture People who always look the wrong way when pulling out onto a main road ****ers who poison or steal eggs from birds of prey
Brits who move to Australia and then never stop telling us how great the weather is Reality TV ITV's coverage of football
I used to live in cities and felt like that most of the time. Now I live in the country and feel like that all the time. There is no escape.
Great thread idea btw Paul(DT), I can see this being very popular just like the word association thread. The problem is it's really hard to pick just three things to put in room 101. Here is another three id like to see go in. Facebook, why do people feel the need to tell the whole world every aspect of there mundane existence? Daytime TV. I work shifts so sometimes put tv on to find the BBC is just a flog it, bargain hunt, buy my crap channel with that annoying camp bloke. Nisan Micra drivers. The Micra is the car choice for people who don't like being on the road. I swear Iv never seen on go over 20mph.
As usual with bloody abbreviations, I hadn't a clue what that was so I Googled it and apparently they are "a lightweight package management system based upon the now defunct ipkg. It is written in C and resembles APT/dpkg in operation. It is intended for use on embedded Linux devices and is used in this capacity in the OpenEmbedded and OpenWrt projects." Fair enough Ubes, its your list I suppose So with that in mind, here's my list: * People who use abbreviations assuming that everyone else will know what they're talking about (No offence Ubey ) * Tailgaters * Paying for a service and then getting ripped off
Our bloody weather over here as its constantly hot..never cools down Smug BMW drivers Leicester fans (not supporters as the fans are all coming out the woodwork now!!)
don't know why they go on about the weather its either hot bloody hot or ****ing hot and then they complain about droughts if you want weather come to new Zealand four seasons in one day
Tres droll, Travis, tres droll. It stands for Other People's Kids and refers to the many occasions when one has to suffer them because you're on reasonably friendly terms with their parents, but said parents have done an appalling job bringing the little brats up to have anything approaching good manners, the ability to hold a conversation with adults, or respect for your property. Hint at their behaviour and you get the same old bullshit about how they're super intelligent for their age and are not being sufficiently challenged at school etc. No, you've brought 'em up badly, allow them to sit idly watching too much **** TV and probably feed them too much junk like turkey twizzlers and Smarties. Sorry about the use of TLAs.
