Loved McNallys reaction at the final whistle yesterday, wonder what he was thinking, my guess would be " F+*k it, how can i sack him now ".
Or just put it down to ignorance of the situation from a fan who blatantly didn`t know the full story and close the thread...
Pretty sure he's a Col U fan and this was supposed to be a WUM, which was the real issue. But agreed that this should just be ignored and we move on
Can I just stick up for Monarch here. He was one of the better Col U supporters that used to frequent this and the old 606, maybe just an error of judgement that is best forgotten. We have all done it. I'm sure he didn't mean it.
Seem's like I've upset all you self righteous City fans. No it wasn't a wind up or a piss take, just thought it would be something different from reading all the Houghton out blogs. And like a lot of you i was not aware that Mc's dad had died, should i apologise, no i don't think so, sorry for Mc's loss, but thats it.
I'd like to echo these comments. To anyone not closely connected with NCFC, it could well have been interpreted as sheer joy and relief of getting an unlikely three points. I knew nothing about his family bereavement until well after the game. I'd suggest monarch made a genuine - if a tad embarrassing, mistake.
I had absolutely no idea McNally's father had died - how on earth would that be public knowledge? Typical case of over reaction if you ask me.
Hughton announced it in the press conference yesterday evening and it was relatively widely reported. But agreed that there is nothing to see here.
Monarch has made himself look like a right ignorant tit so that and supporting Col Who is punishment enough.
Leave it now darling, you are just digging yourself into a deeper hole. It is disappointing that you cannot handle the banter after trying to give it in your OP. I am attempting to protect you from yourself. I hope you can see that.
Seconded. Monarch is easily one of the good guys and does not normally show any malice towards us. Let's just move on and hold no grudge
