Does Monk have a say on this topic at all: he's a caretaker manager, and the board has shown that they clearly have the decision making power whenever it comes to transfers...
Can't see him leaving mate, however at the end of the season, that could be a different matter. Unless Anzhi offer more than £20million, he'll stay i reckon.
Michu will go , whether it's today or in the summer .For good money , I'd let him go , the amount being thrown around is 6 million.
Michu walked past a lot of opportunity , like others , to come to play for Laudrup . Guaranteed Michu is fuming at what happened this season to Laudrup , and he won't be the only one. The sacking was bad enough , the manner in witch it happened will haunt us soon enough.
From who? Spurs and Wigan showed a little interest but then turned to other targets. I'd bet that not many people in Britain had heard of Michu beofre he signed for us. It's not as if United, Barca or Real were lining up to buy him was it? Hell not even Fergie had heard of him.
Did you miss the part where there was very little interest in Michu? It wasn't like he was courting every big club in Europe but came here to worship Danish Jesus. Oh and let's be honest, Danish media reporting this? I wonder why...
Wow , I guess Laudrup really knew his transfer business then , to bad Jenkins didn't let him do his job . Michu , Canas , Chico , Pozuelo and for a total cost of under4 million and you want 20 million for Michu , your digging your own hole valley
Wales on line posted something 4 hours ago worried about the Michu transfer . Didn't know they were danish. 16 goals in 37 appearences as an attacking midfielder in Spain and no one noticed , spare me .
You know full and well he slipped under the radar, I expect you'd be saying it if ML was still here. You're saying otherwise in hindsight for no reason other than to support your view on whether ML should've been sacked or not.
Well if they want Michu they've got 1 minute left to hand us a huge wedge of cash. Lets be honest here, this was plainly an internet rumour picked up by the papers (BTW The earliest report of this was 2 days ago by the Daily Fail) and circulated without a thought for fact checking... Anzhi are not exactly tripping over mounds of ready cash, they are also very undesirable at the moment and not just because it's in Russia. They are bottom of the league and 10 points from safety with 12 games to play.
Frankly Matt , I'd sell him to the russians for as much as I could , be a great financial boost for Michu too . Then we don't have to worry about what he's doing in the summer or in our other players ears , causing possible dissention for the rest of this season .Not saying this is hsppening , just the pros of selling now.
Whats your point . There was interest , good chance it was both ways too . Enough that Monk addressed it . All I ****ing did was bring this to people attention and listen to yourselves , some of you people will believe anything you tell yourselves lol
Chelsea were very interested in Wayne Rooney too, and guess what, f**k all happened. You seem to believe everything you read in the papers too, whereas I had told you that Monk had said he was going nowhere.
Again , I just brought it to everyone attention , like everyone else does valley . Who said I believed it was going to happen . My worry was that it was a possibility and will have repercussions around the clubhouse , it was always my concern But you believe whatever you want at what I was thinking , youd know better I guess . I like to face possibles valley , no sand for me
Calm down Roof you'l give yourself an aneurysm... Anyway, bit confused with the Russian window. I cant tell now if it closed tonight or Thursday night.. That'll give you more time to fret and whine unless you keel over clutching your chest before then.
