Bentaleb (I think) picks it up in the middle-left and looks out wide-right for Lennon only to find he's not there - Lennon was in the strikers role...
I don't know how much the players are feeling the midweek trip, but this has been a dire first half performance. No imagination, a sloppy, half-arse attitude and terrible shape.

Shapless again. Thank **** for Capoue's injury because it meant that we stopped playing Dembele out of position but still there's simply a total lack of plan. Probably the most annoying thing to see is that the only tactics that you can pick out is that we're not playing a high line often and we're playing long balls, exactly what we should've done on Thursday and not what we should be doing today. Ref's a bit of a prick too, doesn't seem to pick up on a lot of their fouling and gives them a freekick for anything.
So far in this game, Spurs showing a distinct lack of togetherness. Half time team-talk should improve things.. ....... Sherwood !.
What an awful 46 minutes of football...... We have shown no continuity, look leggy (EL) and little ambition. The defence is barely coping with one of the tamest attacks in the PL and the midfield has no bite. Rose has passed to the opposition so much I wonder if he is colour blind. Naughton has been adequate defensively, but doesn't look - or move - forward. Vertonghens attitude worries me: quick to lambast his teammates - and the ref - but not exactly shining himself. The less said about Daws the better.... But apart from that, I reckon we have done ok
