The president of Argentina has had her weekly whinge about the Falkland islands. Should we enter into negotiations? Is there anything to negotiate? We couldn't afford another war so perhaps we should station one of our nuclear armed submarines there?

I propose that we get Argentina and the UN to agree to letting the Islanders have a referendum on their sovereignty the outcome of which would be lasting and non-negotiable.

Sadly, due to the Tories cutting back on our armed forces we don't have the manpower to defend the Malvinas. Basically, the Argentinians could just take them and there's **** all we could do about it.
