    Well someone had to do it.....

    Quite like the look of how it's panned out Syd, was dreading a similar run in which I recall we had 8-9 tough games on
    the spin.

    I know every game will be just has tough this season, but least we don't have that 8-9 on the spin where it looks
    difficult to pick up points!

    The problem is Lambton, that that makes it much more difficult to get a run together. Our players -must- perform when it counts and can't just rely on a run of easier games to get it right once out of luck and keep their heads up as a result.

    If for example we beat one lesser team then play a big 4 team away the next game we are likely to lose, and heads are down again. This season will test the mental strength of a lot of our players.

    What worries me about the derby being so early is it means Barton, Enrique and other key Toon players could still be around for one last hurrah (or who knows if they win it could persuade them to stay) as theres still 10days of the transfer window left . Likewise we need to rebuild moreso than the Mags and knowing our tendency to leave the bigger deals to deadline day we could be facing them with a threadbare squad on our part.
