    ...she's no Charlotte!

One year the BBC will get their Winter Olympics coverage right. Sod the figure skating, sod the curling - put the bloody ice hockey on for a change!!!

The snow boarding is brilliant to watch when needing 30 mins to kill, watching these women stack it is pretty funny to watch! they showed the clip of the American lady who blew the title last time round, in the clear, no one to challenger her, then she showboats and throws away the title. She fell this year too!

Have they found the ref who wrongly disallowed Russia a winning goal against the USA yet? Any of him?

The two-man bobsleigh damn near turned into a snuff movie yesterday, with a Jamaican forgetting to fasten his helmet and the sled nearly tipping over several times during the run.

Also, I can't be alone in noticing how pointless curling is. The team that goes second always wins!

Also today, Thailands Giant Slalom skier Vanessa Vanakorn turns out to be none other than violinist Vanessa Mae! <yikes> fair play to her, didn't threaten the podium but what other violinist can say they completed an Olympic downhill course! it never occured to the Midlands tosspot villain Nigel Kennedy!

Story of the Olympics has to be French snow boarder Pierre Vaultier. Snapped a cruciate ligament in December....yep December, stayed in a brace till the Olympics. Hadn't even stood on a board till the practice runs at Sochi, then wins the Gold Medal. Quite frankly that shouldn't be humanly possible!....footballers eh! 6months before a bit of a light jog!

They should have a skeleton bob competition for drummers - as only they would be bonkers enough to do it. I can't see Ringo getting on the podium. Obviously Keith Moon would win, Animal 2nd, Tommy Ramone 3rd - hey ho, let's go.
