V-Joe, I can understand this post because Smug and his wife deserve every credit for what they did for you and family. However, about two or three weeks later he started a thread laughing about the poor unfortunate that drove their motability scooter into the Thames and drown, which to me just did not square away with normal compassion. I put my thoughts on the thread but Smug made further fun claiming it was a Laurel & Hardy banana skin moment.

On face value there was an element of humour, but best kept private in my opinion, but the fact remains he posted it then defended his reasons.

He also said said his wife had gone to bed in disgust.

May well be a diamond Joe, but only when he chooses.

You are a disgrace to the human race and a total moron if you find the drowning of a disabled person whose mobility scooter did not negotiate a flooded footpath and led to him disappearing.

Nostalgic, you follow me around these boards desperately trying to trip me up, just like Cyprus, Stag, Sunderlandstu and a few others.

I'd ask you why but there's not a chance you'd admit to doing it or post a proper response. You went onto that thread and tried & tried to rally people against me as you're trying to do here.

Fair enough, what you do is your concern but I will speak up for myself.

As I made it perfectly clear "I wasn't laughing at the demise of the poor bloke and would've been the first to help if I'd been there."

You even admit there's an element of humour yet you're quite happy to bring Joe and his family into the argument to attempt to bolster your crusade.
Do you think that's a correct thing to do?

With no shame, whatsoever, you also used a derogatory term 'moron', often used against the mentally ill, to show how much you care about a mentally ill person.
Can you see the hypocrisy in that or not?

Yes, there was an element of humour in the situation, gallows humour as I mentioned at the time. It doesn't mean we don't care.

In response to Billy D I made that 100% clear.

    Billy D
"I have to say some of the comments on here have made me chuckle even though a man has died."

    Smug at Wembley
"It's what the British do best mate, gallows humour .......... it doesn't mean we don't care does it."

Even the title was an admittance that some tragic things, in this life, make you laugh when you know it's wrong.

    http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/244347-Surely-only-a-terrible-person-could-laugh

Lots of people guiltily admitted it made them laugh but, as usual, you prefer to pursue your witch hunt by concentrating on me as you're doing here
As 'sandymackem' said, "You're gonna burn in hell Smug, along with the rest of us!"
You didn't attack Sandy, or those who said things much worse than me, because you've chosen your target and nothing sways you does it?

I didn't make further fun, I explained the reason why certain things result in a nervous laugh when you know something's wrong, like someone falling over.

"Whatever the consequential stories of 'mental illness' or whatever it's funny now without wishing the man any harm .......... it's just a grander version of Laurel slipping on a banana skin."

I'll allow other people to make their minds up and won't stoop to your level by attempting to turn people against you.

Whatever the case, you and your little pals have already won.

I'll be returning to the UK on Sunday and, after that day, won't be posting on here any more.
I'm just bored with people like you and Cyprus disrupting mine, and other people's threads, with these snide attacks.

It's no good for the board and I appear to be the catalyst that brings you little worms out of the woodwork.

So, there you go, you've won, congratulations <ok>

And there you are again, using a mocking term often used to deride the mentally ill ........... yet you have no sense of irony or shame do you?

What the **** is this thread all about? Honestly, complete pointless bickering. If you don't particularly like some one you can block them and it'e even easier to avoid a thread they have started. It's a football forum take it for what it is.

Just a word of advice..Please don't put photos of match tickets on here, or any other social network site for that matter, that has been suggested. There has been reports of forgers using these photographs as templates..I made this mistake by posting mine on Syd's forum, but I have since removed them once I found out this information..

    You're no doubt right mate.

Sadly, I'm a bit old fashioned and, when someone jumps in, for no good reason, to call me a liar I react.

The thread was posted to try to help the many Sunderland lads who've contacted me desperate to get into Wembley.

It's turned into another 'hounding session' where sad people like Cyprus & Nostalgic continue their sad stalking.

Perhaps the fact that neither are going to the final is the problem. Perhaps my username is pissing them off. No idea tbh.

I agree bickering is pointless which is why I'm removing their chosen target from the board.

It must be really ****ing tedious for people having to see this very other day.

My humour is very risqué, more then any of you will ever realise until you've met and get to know me. I laugh at things I shouldn't, my social camouflage is that of a clown and many I time I've got myself into to trouble for drunkenly misjudging situations, Like the time I got attacked and then arrested all because I cracked a **** joke. My point is that it doesn't effect my ability to feel and show empathy and I don't doubt I've shown way more than the average person.

I think Nostagic was a bit below the belt here, not for the way he's calling out Smug. Smug can look after himself, but using Joe and his lady as a platform to mount an attack on someone is frankly pathetic. I laughed and posted a video on that thread. Have a go at me. Think nostalgic should ask himself which Is more offensive, someone laughing at a slapstick situation, or using someone's situation in an example to launch an unrelated attack on another poster. Very sad imo.

Smug, did you actually manage to get the information you were looking for? It's all lost in translation thanks to folk queueing up to attack you.

Not really mate, some folk were really helpful but I didn't really want to ask the questions I need answers to.

With these exec boxes you have cards which you 'buzz' yourself in with.

I was wondering if it was possible to reuse them, on the same day, which would allow 8 people to enter on 4 cards.

I'd have done it, just to get a few desperate lads in who could then have then taken their chances.

If they could've found decent Sunderland people in another half empty box they'd have been flying.

If we'd got them in an hour or so before kick off they'd have had time to get to a pub if they'd been stopped and ejected.

TBH, I've just caused mesel loads of bother for nowt. It seems some people get so wound up by harmless threads, like this, that they have to pile in to have a go at me.

I just don't need it mate so these are my last few shifts.

After a gut wrenching wait, don't ever want to go through that again.

The ones I ordered from that Gumtree thingy don't arrive 'til the 26th.
I emailed them and asked if I could pay extra for quicker delivery but they said they send them out late as an anti-fraud thing.

    Another horrible wait <doh>

I already posted a thanks on the match thread to you <ok>

Would be a shame to lose you fella, you're a good regular post and a sound geezer. It all reeks of jealousy to me, It seems some folk refuse to believe that rich people have internet access <doh> Money doesn't get me going (not saying it does for you btw) So a rich person talking about things which involves high costs just doesn't bother me. It seems to utterly rile some people. The mobility scooter dig was just about the most pathetic thing I've ever read.

Don't let them grind you down, you know you're thick skinned and can handle it. **** em. You're stubborn and can be a bit of a wind up merchant, takes one to know one you see, but there's no crime in it and if someone attacks you, you should defend yourself to the absolute hilt.

Hope you stick around and carry on being you myself. If folk want to argue with you more fool them. People push your button then complain about the buttons function. I understand on other boards why you/we get banned a lot as they don't know you but the lads on here should know better by now imo.

I'm very far from being rich mate, I just spend as much as I dare on following my team and doing other stuff.
Living in the south of France sucks money out of you which is why I'm coming back.

I'm not stopping posting because I can't handle these sad people, it's because decent posters like Commachio & Concrete Tony are pissed off with me 'defending myself to the absolute hilt'.

It must be beyond tedious seeing threads continually pulled to pieces because these clowns are on a mission to trip me up. It's bad enough on my own threads but they do it on other people's.

The funny thing is that, until the last few days, I've not often insulted people or posted meaningless ****e ......... I don't suppose any of really get upset about infantile 'banter' and arguments.

What upsets them is that I post facts that they can't contradict and then accuse me of arguing and thinking I'm right.

The sad thing is that it isn't these idiotic Hull or Mag posters, or whoever, who've driven me off, it's fellow Sunderland supporters.

I'm not pissed of with you at all matey! I've actually enjoyed reading the slagging match, like I say I can ignore stuff I want to but I'm here to talk about Sunderland. I don't really know anyone on here, there are good and bad posters. You are well within your right to defend yourself Smug, your integrity was called into question. I'm not sure what Cyprus gets out of having a pop? If you find someone fanciful oot whatever it's fairly easy to skip their input.

I don't think money is the problem when it comes to getting tickets, they are just very difficult to get hold of. I really thought I would be able to get some but its proving more difficult than I thought. I am hoping a mate who has a client with club Wembley tickets can get me his, knowing my luck he will be a Sunderland fan.

Also I think there are probably people of all sorts of backgrounds on this forum, lets face it people are not going to go around telling other people who they are or how much money they have got. Everyone is equal on here and that's the way it should be.

I met someone quite famous from another forum, spoke to them for years and did not have a clue who they were until I met them for a drink, we were both working abroad in the same place. You just never know.
