Just remember we got 2 rounds further than Man U this season, and you might feel better.

I know I do.

A bit.

get with the times grandads. Boots come in all colours. We Don't wear stripes. The FA Cup is WORTHLESS.*

*not my true opinion.

While watching a game the other day, I saw a player who looked distinctly odd compared to the rest of the players on the pitch. Every time he came into shot he stuck out like a sore thumb. Then it dawned on me - he was wearing traditional black boots.

I've been brain washed. ;)

It's hard to get hold of black football boots now. You pay more for them. It was only about 8 years ago that at Sunday League level, anyone with coloured boots would receive a clattering. Fast forward to present day; it's the guy who can afford the black Puma Kings who is going to get taken out.

My boots are white, it's the "closest" thing to black boots I could afford.

Traditional boots are brown leather covered in dubbin and weighing a stone each when wet.

lol, I am 66 and barely a grey hair on my head! No I don't use Grecian e.t.c. just lucky I guess, my Dad was the same well into his 80's, guess it's down to not worrying too much! I do worry that I won't see another big day at Wembley however especially if the current attitudes prevail.

Outstanding! I've always been grateful that I inherited my dads thick hair (no thinning or balding), but the grey wire sure does protrude the sides now, can't imagine being in my sixties with no grey! <ok>
