What Giggs did to his brother (for years) I don't think anyone can match. Amazing how Terry ****ing someones ex got more bad press than that.

Totally agree, Giggs did it to his own brother for years. Both are disgraceful behaviour but Giggs is just depraved.

That is one of the best quotes I have read here on this forum in a long while. Read it to the missus last night, she is still laughing. I wonder did Mitterand really say that?
I really don't see what the big deal is, a footballer having a bit on the side.... So what?

All these things are somehow forgiven in our society when it's a football player though. Them being decent human beings doesn't seem to matter; if they're good at football, you can be a f*ckhead and still get adoration. Terrible message to send to society.

It's a strange place being in a football fans mind. Some people will defend their players to the hilt despite them committing so many mistakes. I don't care, if one of our players is being a tit, then I will say he is a tit. Giroud's been a tit and should be castigated for it period. He gets paid to score goals, not to score in the team hotel before a game. Add to the fact he has a wife and kid, then it's just sad.

I would've thought the part where he was cheating on his wife and kid with some fake-titted, money-grabbing bikini model would've been the primary thing, not the part that gets added on ...

Despite my personal opinion being that cheating on your wife, particularly if you have kids is absolutely despicable, culturally it. Isn't seen in quite the same lighting n France and given he hasn't been in the country hat long I'll forgive his stupidity in the way he conducted himself.

It's his wife's forgiveness he needs to hope is there!
