Match thread for tomorrow's match History: Highest scoring match in Cardiff was a 3-2 win for the home side in 1982/1983. The last time the two met was in the 2004/2005 season with Wigan winning both home and away matches. -- Sorry it's not more informative, relatively busy in work
The last time we played them at home in the league; Graham Kavanagh refused to score against us. We still lost though. I also remember; the last time (before Malky) we had a manager sacked during a season, was after a 4-0 defeat to Wigan in league 1. Alan (he's got no hair but we don't care) Cork I believe.
Strong team Starting XI: Marshall, Taylor, Caulker (c), Cala, Theophile-Catherine, Medel, Eikrem, Daehli, Berget, Zaha, Campbell.
A win is obviously best but Ole Babyface might not be against a replay just to gel the team a bit more for the premier league finishing stretch 1-1 , Campbell .
No idea, can't bring myself to watch. Wouldn't mind to much if we lose except it's against Wigan (who we probably should beat but then again they are cup holders) And no I wouldn't want a replay. Hope you get one though!
To be fair Cardiff have had the most chances, but and I have to be honest, 2 average sides on show. Not he best game no atmosphere, dont think that helps the team.
Think you can apply the atmosphere problem to most games in the Cup though, not just us. The fact Don Cowie is on shows it's probably not the most exciting.
The new signing Cala doesnt look to bad a signing apart from his open goal miss. Zaha just wants to beat evertone.
There's no doubt that he has the talent but he does have a tendency to overdo it and just lose the ball. Doesn't help. Fairly good at crossing though.
I've said it before & I'll keep saying it. I just don't see where the goals are going to come from, we seem to run out of ideas in the final third.
