and I know all you really want is a winner from the tipster you all love (or hate).

Not going to go overboard but CHATEAU LOLA 16-1 Wolverhamton 6;05 always seems to go better for Joe Fanning than anyone else. She is a course and distance winner off a mark a few pounds higher and trainer Derek Shaw has the yard in decent form. This one has been bang out of form but the Fanning factor makes her worth having a small dabble on. Cheek pieces are used for the first time and maybe they will freshen her up enough to put her in the frame!

The other one I think has a squeak at a fancy price tomorrow is BOLLIN JUDITH off a ridiculous mark. Any sign of a market move should be acted on!

Crikey Stick you've got some cojones backing that thing! A mate of mine has a few shares in her for the year (equivalent to about a hoof). He texted me before it ran in January to back it. I didn't but have kept an eye out for it. Hasn't beaten anything home yet in his tenure. Still she's better drawn tomorrow and a decent AW jockey on board. I might just have a little ew dabble. My mucker will be made up when I tell him a shrewdie has tipped it up! <laugh>
 
A trend I have noticed recently -horses tipped up on here seem to shorten -could be a coincidence,or cautious bookies!
 
Nothing to do with horses but love this saying for Valantines, "Love is blind, its marriage which is the eye opener"!!! Also, marriage is a good invention, but then again, so is the bicycle repair kit.
 
I would contribute Toppy, but I can't do all the arranging of it. Its always an enjoyable thread.

No surprise with some of their quality coming over!

Talking of previews, when do they kick off?
 
Morning, comrades. I won&#8217;t shout this too loudly but there&#8217;s a whisper that there is a debutant running at Wolverhampton this eve in the &#8216;lucky last&#8217; (8.05) who is a good &#8216;un, we aren&#8217;t taking about reincarnation of Pegasus good &#8216;un, but we are talking good&#8217; un nonetheless. Said animal is MAAHIR who is by Cape Cross and out of a mare officially rated in the 100&#8217;s and a Group 3 winner to boot. Has apparently been working very nicely at home but those bookie chappies seem to be aware of things though and are currently going only a best priced 6/4 re Maahir.

I&#8217;m sure I speak for everyone, and I do mean everyone, on the forum when I say how fantastic it was to see Long Run back in the &#8216;winner&#8217;s enclosure&#8217; yesterday. Let&#8217;s hope that&#8217;s a position he keeps on his next outing in the old Grand National. Given his connections you can guarantee there would never be a more popular winner of Aintree&#8217;s showpiece. Finally, re Mr Henderson I see he plans to run My Tent or Yours in a &#8216;bumpy jumpy&#8217; at Kempers Park on Sunday afternoon. Said race should put him spot on for the Champers Hurdle next month, people.

Cracking preview last year mate <ok>. Printed it out to peruse along with timeform and sportinglife.

Change of trainer. The old girl just needs to tell the stewards that his last handler couldn’t train ivy to grow up a wall.
 
She's got Hunky Dorey in a couple of races next Tuedsay, although both non-sellers, so maybe the gelding will get an outing then.
