Fingernails? Pffffft, I'm looking at bone and sinew all that's left of my fingers.
That was another stinking performance, until it was the greatest performance of grit and determination. That last 5 minutes turned from hate filled "bloody inconsistent Liverpool" to absolute elation.

Also, Skrts was dropped last season for less horrendous mistakes. #justsaying

TBF our 2nd half was very good aside from the defensive error

You have to say, sort out the defence and we have a pretty good team.

Get Sakho and Jose back is two.

Need a real quality CB, RB to compete with Flanno and a top DM.

I agree 100%. Wouldn't mind another good quality left back too, to compete with Enrique.

On the Suarez lack of goals thing... he hit the post both today and Saturday, plus two great saves away from two more goals. He'll get more this season for sure.

Question what was the last team to have 2x 20goalaseason strikers in the same team?

Never been done in the PL, except united but cole was bought in jan from newcastle for which he got half his goals so doesn't count!

We can't go dropping everyone after a bad performance.

Toure has cost us 2 and nearly 4 points mind and needs to sort himself out.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers: "Steven Gerrard is peerless in situations like that. He showed brilliant composure. It was a great result. We've had to show character to come form behind twice. A brilliant victory.

"It's a great credit to Rene and his staff and players that we were given a very tough game. In the first half we were not quite on it in terms of intensity, and a mistake has put us 1-0 down. We then got a good goal, thanks to Gerrard's marvellous pass. We raised the intensity and aggression at half-time. We're disappointed with the second goal we gave away. This team has shown great characteristics mentally.

"We conceded two goals, that has been unlike us for a while. We need to eradicate the individual errors. Thankfully we have goals in the team."

Yes we can - 4 points off the top. With Chelsea and City having to come to Anfield. Also the other teams up at the top have various other cup commitments, so they have more games to play, meaning less time to prepare for PL games.

It's unlikely but we definitely have a chance. A game at a time and you just never know!

yeah. when the champs league kicks in again it might work to our advantage (for a couple of weeks anyway <ok>)

I'm not saying that we should be winning the title or anything but I just hope we're still in touching distance when Chelsea and Man City come to Anfield ;)

Make those games 6 pointers!!

Brendan Rodgers: "We're going to keep pushing. We've shown enough times we're a very good side. We're chasing, other teams are still ahead of us. We need some of them to drop points. We know we still have Man City and Chelsea to play at home. We'll take it game by game. I'm enjoying as a coach watching the team improve."

Can I just say in Toures defence......

He bodyslammed Phil Dowd.

I thought Phil Dowd had a terrible game tonight, pulled up both teams on so many occasions for nothing. One in particular was Sturridge running through, someone attempts to tackle him but falls.....Dowd gives a freekick to Fulham.

I love how much Stevie seems to be genuinely enjoying himself, scoring and making vital goals in a good team!

He's desperate to win the League!

Thought we actually played half decent after the first 20 minutes.

Created plenty of opportunities but unfortunately individual errors cost us and made our lives much harder than it should of been. But with that said, Rodgers has the marbles to put another AM on and it worked a treat, Tex looked great when he came on.. Exactly how a good debut under pressure should be.

You can't steam role the opposition every game, sometimes you need to dig deep and trust in how you play - and we did that tonight up until the last minute and in the end got what we deserved. Three points, three goals.. Onwards and upwards.

The classic was the time Riise shoulder charged Sturridge in their penalty area and came off second best and Dowd still gave a foul to Fulham! It was the cleanest shoulder charge all season. How Dowd gave the penalty I'll never know - it was too clear cut!
