    Its the week break that will make Poyet put out his strongest team, whereas if they had played tonight, he may well have chucked in some squad players. Saying that, he won't want a back log of games, & that's what he's going to get by winning or drawing with us.

    Regrettably Poyet should have no problem winding them up for a cup game and the chance to do us over again. On the plus side, Mauricio and the boys will be similarly determined.

    Surprised that the game at Stoke is still on. Apparently seriously strong winds in the midlands and North west tonight. The Britannia is seriously windy on the best of days.

    People will know by now that I generally don't give a fig about other teams, unless their fixtures have an effect on Saints position in the league, but I must say that tonight's games are proving fairly interesting in their own right.

    Sadly, Liverpool have just equalised at Fulham, to make it 1-1, but Spurs leading Newcastle is a good 'un. Stoke are going through a slightly purple patch since beating ManU, leading Swansea 1-0.
