Just keep crossing the ball, Utd have set the standard now I think it was something like 84 that others have to beat.

    Rep'd <ok>

Our defence is more Smart Car than bus in fairness....but our attack is purring like a Jag right now

In terms of threat we will obviously have to keep an eye on Sidwell coming from midfield and try to keep the number of set pieces we concede down to a minimum (don't want to see 6ft 8 defenders coming up into our box too often). Holtby is a decent player and will keep the Fulham midfield ticking over if we don't shut him down quickly enough. The advantage we have if we play at our best is massive though. Fulham have conceded more than anyone this year and form at Craven Cottage is woeful. We are scoring for fun but our away form isn't the best so good chance to rectify that.

In all seriousness, the weather could be a big factor in the game tonight. Perhaps silkship can tell us how strong SW/W winds effect their ground.

  5. Not made my mind up as to whether I'm going to be watching it live or not yet. It's on LFC TV at midnight; visiting hours are up to 8pm so I wouldn't get home until the second half unless I leave earlier and I'd have to watch a online feed. LFC TV means no rushing etc and a decent picture of a 42" screen

  7. Done when at work quite a few times before <ok>

Only reason I'm not sure is because its not fun avoiding the score, nor is it the same watching later on.

trouble is most of our good work comes i the first half if we are normally going to get a result in games, and thats' the part you will miss.

you may walk into a boring 0-0 2nd half.

i would watch it later on to be honest, but then if the whole game is a 0-0 you would want to know if the ****a is worth watching first lol.

  10. Of course, the other option is record it on the Tivo box and watch it in the morning after taking the eldest to school but that's a not of avoiding the score <laugh>

It's been a wet day here - the stadium isn't seamless so the wind is coming through from the angles and above - plus we are next to the river.

Expect it to be a slick surface with swirling wind- not sure if it suits your fast, direct passing game or our more aesthetically pleasing 'total(ly crap) football' philosophy. I'd put a tenner down that at-least 2 Stevie G bullet crossfield passes will skip up and out of play.

With the way weather can affect roads and transport some of you coming down this afternoon/evening might wish the strike had gone ahead.

i'm up for this one now. just finished actual work and only have stupid meetings now.

as long as fulhams pitch is a good one we don't care.... this is LFC we are talking about and the f'n wind off the docks is something we are well used to.

Lose or draw this one, we must part with our title ambitions.

So, plenty at stake in that regard.

On the otherhand... if we win this, and beat Chelsea at home- there is only 1 point between us and the current media darling, Chelsea.

I hope to god that we are within an earshot of the leaders before each of the 2 home fixtures with the big guns. It will make for 2 sizzling ocassions.

Quite tired of us being just spoilers in those big spring games and having to listen to the chunk of the commentary either hailing the prowess or lamenting the fortunes of our opponent.

If we're in the race come April, the media will still be sucking off their darlings but in a pathetic harried way fearing for their embarassment at the hands of Suarez and co.
