What..? Already at 44..? No thank you. I'd rather have my childhood, ta. At least we were allowed to have one. :)

Just to change the subject. While I was looking at the squad on the Saints OS, I looked up the available info on the players. Now I think we all believe that Victor Wanyama is a bloody tank, yes..? And that say Gaston Ramirez is frail looking, by comparison [anyone bar Dejan and Rickie are slightly frail looking beside VW, after all]..?

Well, get this. According to Saints OS figures, frail Gaston is 6ft tall and weighs 12st 2lbs. Pretty damn good playing weight to height, in my opinion. Wish I was back there still. Victor is 6ft 2ins [whaaat..?] and weighs 12st 0lbs..! [whaaat, again..?] Yes, TWO POUNDS less than Ramirez, and yet he's 2ins taller, but looks twice as wide.

Now, either Gaston has very dense bones or Victor is ALL MUSCLE [muscles being light for the amount of volume they take up]. Frankly, I'm astonished. It means that when players like Wilshere bounce off Victor like he's made of concrete, it's because of his sheer bloody standing power. :)

General inaccuracy of listed weights aside, that Wanyama is in no way, shape or form a legitimate 6'2" might be a contributing factor. He's a shade shorter than Poch, who was listed at 6'0" during his career.

Also, muscle isn't light for the amount of volume it takes up. Quite the opposite, actually: muscle is more dense than fat by a fair margin, and roughly the same density as bone.

My error. And there was I thinking it was the other way around. Well that just proves that I'm weedier now that I'm 14st of fat instead of 14st of muscle.

As for the sheer accuracy of the data. I can only go on by what has been measured. So my choice is your say so, because you've seen Victor up against Poch in photographs, or I trust the data..?

I think I'll trust the data for now.

You would think the data was accurate, wouldn't you? All I would say is that Isgrove is listed as 2 inches shorter than Poch...yet Mauricio had to duck to get in the same photo as him.

Zaha looks and plays so much like Guly.

Apart from Guly passes to people and is quite good at keeping possession.

Probably, but there is nothing wrong with saying that someone believing in you helps. It's obvious Moyes doesn't like him as a player anyway.

Man City game off (bad news for our FA Cup match...no chance of injuries)...Stoke may be off as well.

Oh well, we should still have too much for Sunderland.

Worst possible outcome really, after our lads playing last night. Oh well, it will make victory on Saturday taste that much sweeter.

I am actually partly pleased Sunderland don't play tonight. They would possibly have written that game off and maybe taken a spanking which would have been perfect fodder for Poyet to wind them up for the Cup. I'm happy. Now they have to start from an unemotional flat position.
