I think if the job was advertised we would get some more than decent applicants ... and - my fear of " celtic family " sentimentality notwithstanding - at this moment in time jackie mac and hartley have more managerial experience than lennon when he was given the job

If we scout far and wide for a Player why not a manager? Who is currently managing Wolves reserves?

Boerritger was basically a signing to keep whining fans, who had complained about not splashing the cash in the January window, happy. 3 ****ing million too.

And he's turned out to be f**king mince.

Cove, that poster who writes blogs about the eredivisie, came on here when we signed him and said he was pish, could run fast and that was it.

Remember when Slaven Bilic was touted? That got me excited. Some may even say hard.

It's kind of important to point out that MON beat the most expensive Rangers team in history with the most expensive team in our history (by quite a distance as well) - it could be well argued that Strachan and Lennon have had to cut the cloth accordingly as a result of us overspending for a couple of years in order to keep up with (what turned out to be) reckless hyperspending (overspending doesn't seem a strong enough word when you're spending millions but putting up **** all).

Lennon is the best we'll get. Don't forget the Huns still idolise Smith and Lennon took his (far more expensive - despite the fact they were hovering over death's door) team apart in their last season.

Some of us are old enough to remember Macari, Brady, McNeill's latter seasons in his second period, Hay and Dr Jo and remember what having a dodgy manager was actually like.

You could do better. McInnes is the man.

It's all relative. Lennon's getting pumped out of cups by teams with a 1,000th of his budget.

I remember those guys as managers, I dont see how thats particularly relevant, its on a par with the " aye , but how much did henrik larrson cost " argument when discussing a new, cheap signing. Lennon mightve done well in the past against smiths team - he isnt doing it now.Thats what counts. Absolute millions blown on players who have come to nothing. three trophies in the last two seasons. one good CL campaign, one almost an embarrassment, needless tinkering in team selection, unfathomable decisions when loaning players out.I think his luck has ran out.

He doesnt need a taxi, I`ll drive him to the airport...
