I don't want either. Not because they are not good enough or I don't rate them, but because they would cost far too much for what we'd be getting. I'm not convinced Lallana would improve the first eleven either.

If that's true then makes last week very odd. You'd think we'd be aware of that and maybe hold fire, unless we were making our interest known in the right way by submitting a bid and going over there with the plan of never fully going through with it?
Also, you'd think the chairman would be very keen to get it done and pick up the extra £8m compared to what they'd get in the summer.

TBH, I don't care. I'd not heard of him beforehand and still don't really know who he is. If we get him, I hope he's a great player. If we don't, mweh...

Willian is nowhere near a 25mill player. He's alright.
Bender's good, but we wouldn't be able to chant his name from the stands.
I'm still holding out for the likes of M'Villa, Banega or Fernando.
Rodgers seems to be moving away from a typical defensive midfielder and more into a deep (really deep) playmaker with two hard working midfielders in front and fullbacks playing higher.
