Pablo is a match winner, he is the one in the center who is NOT afraid to make those forward passes that will allow players to run onto, tell me who else we have who is even remotely capable of that?

Who in that team yesterday would have tried that pass to Routledge? let alone pull it off

So he has a few bad parts to his game which he can work on, yet did you notice when he lost the ball yesterday, he chased it back, granted he then went on to foul Mutch (?) but hey, he tried. Something our other players can look at for some ideas what to do when they lose the ball.

Pablo for me should be the first name on the team sheet, ok second after Brittion :p And I would love to see him get a run as the AM. Rather than the out and out winger. But with Michu coming back, think that wont happen.

Dyer and Routledge don't do kamikaze passes and they play in the same position. I'm not trying to pick a fight or anything and any player can make a wayward pass but, imo, he makes too many wayward passes in dangerous places.

I would like to see more of him at the no.10 position, so to speak, but Michu is obviously the priority there!! Would be a good alternative though, more incisiveness than Pozuelo certainly..

Keep those 2 wide boys' Dyer & Routledge, well wide, as I said!!

This could be a new position in the team for him. Was really effective at times, however he did give the ball away too.

TMT doesn't do player favouritism although I agree with your sentiments strongly. Gylfi Sigurdsson had one of the worst pass completions down here.

I think he's most effetcive as an impact player.

Once the defence has been softened up or have got used to a more conventional attach he come's on and confuses the fück out of them.

Not too bothered if he gives the ball away offensively as a fair percentage will work and set up a chance but he sometimes gives it away when doing a simple sideways pass. Perhaps needs to concentrate.

As Swanselona says - he's a match winner, but I find he's equally likely to cost us a goal.
As an impact player I find him most effective - the longer he is on the pitch the more nervous I become, but equally filled with hope that he may create something.
I guess what I'm saying is that he instills no confidence in me. I don't have the same worry in equal measures about Routledge or Dyer. They make make occasional poor passes but not to the extent that Pablo (or Shelvey for that matter) does.

On another note, I went to Twitter to see if Michu had anything to say about the win yesterday but there's nothing. What I did notice though is that his profile pic is not him in a Swans kit....

Agree with that! What he needs is to build on this performance and we'll have a great player on our hands.

The most infuriating player at the club. Like him on the ball when attacking, but when he picks the ball up deep am terrified he will give the ball away. Can win a game for us there is no doubt and he has a lot of quality. But he is the biggest ****house i have ever seen wear the shirt and will pull out of tackles that are 70 -30 in his favour. I also worry about his work rate in terms of helping out defensively. There is no doubt he is a luxury player and i agree with the poster who says he is a good impact player.

For all that I think he is a big asset and hope he stays fit till the end of the season.

He did much more good than bad yesterday , an extremely talented player who we should be more than happy to call him ours. He hasn't played a full game in how long ? ,I wonder if his brain is quicker than his feet , he's continually looking for the next pass even before the ball is any where near him Yes he's frustrating at times but also a genius imo. His commitment yesterday was 100% which is a good sign going forward ,the King is dead and long live the King and he seems on board with Monk as the manger .Heavily involved in the goals yesterday what more could we want .

One of the most positive things to come out of yesterday's game. Apparently he was about the only player sorry to see ML go so if he's behind the new regime then everyone else will be.

pablo was my MOM yesterday. His vision on where to pass the ball was superb. Emms had a good game also for someone thrust into the first team. He is ready made for our style of football and can only get better the more games he plays...

Emnes in fairness slotted into the side as if he hadn't been away ,but he was up against Championship players <whistle>. Played well enough and put a couple of decent crosses into the box .What let us down in that respect that no one was prepared to bust a gut to get into the space .
