It will take a few weeks to get our squad up to the fitness levels of previous seasons, but I'm sure we'll get there, but we should still have enough fuel in the tank to sort out the Redtits tomorrow!..................<cheers>

Breezy, as people keep saying, if Laudrup really wanted to say good bye (or influence a player!) I am pretty damned sure he would have called them on the phone! Or did Jinx ask his network provider to cut him off.

I have spoken to some people in and around the club (by no means trying to make myself out like Dai does!!) who have all said that players felt alienated from the management. Akin to when we heard about the extra training that was going on during Sousa's reign. Ever consider why Bony took so long to 'get fit enough' to start a game? Not saying it is any better now, but surely the fact that someone (one of them!) is now in charge, means that they will be getting the kind of training and workout that they need?

Cant help but think the whole pink Ferrari thing was a futile attempt to create the spirit that was lacking due to the mis-management of the team.

I may be off the mark, but this is just my take on it.

Hear hear...things at the training ground could not be better...<ok>

Win tomorrow and everything will look a whole lot better and if Bony scores he will feel the love !

Laudrup's legacy begins tomorrow in a way , to bad he won't be here to expierence it. The players are professionals, we will do well the rest of the way , it will have little to do with Monk and more to do with returning players , easier EPL shedule and being already so far into the cups. A lot at stake and Laudrup will be more responsible than any single person that doesn't play .But mark my words , and I've spent a hundred seasons playing sports , the exodus will begin in ernest after the last game . You don't do to a manager, what the board did to Laudrup and gain any respect from players , time will tell .

The amount of negatively and tantrums you have thrown over the last few weeks plastic, you are in absolutely no position to tell anyone to 'get a grip'.

What negativity and what tantrums? I don't remember any. I'm very optimistic now that ML has left.As for tantrums, I'm way too calm a person to have them.

With all due respect, if players' want to leave at the end of the season so be it. Players & managers come & go, fortunately or unfortunately. Our club still remains & that's what it's all about. We will still support them!! If so & so player doesn't want to put the proud Swansea City shirt on at the start of next season, on you go mate, all the best!!! We want players who want to play for us, anyone who differs, knows where the door is!!!

Finally, if we win today, it will have everything to do with Monk!! Same as if Laudrup was still here & we had lost, it would be everything to do with him!!! He's gone now & probably for the best, I just couldn't see the 'stomach for the fight' that would've been needed, under him...

We'll soon see if Garry Monk has galvanised the troops & I think we will see that....

Totally agree. I think Monk is the right person to motivate the team, especially for such an important fixture. Many are surprised at the timing of ML's sacking, but to me the timing is all because of today's match. This match is the perfect place to start to get results.

Some rep from me. Top post!!

Iwill be totally behind the team and I also think any player that wants out should be sent out, not the point . The only point I'm making is they WILL go in numbers because of the boards actions.

Can you define "numbers". How many WILL go? 1, 2, 10?

Do have have some inside information? You seem very certain?

I guess about as certain as Monk being our saviour, as you've alluded to .

I think Monk will do ok, but I haven't said or alluded to him being our saviour. He's probably too inexperienced for PL, but only time will tell. I think he can motivate the team though and I think the team are good enough with a bit of motivation. Whether that works in the long-term is another thing.

I am happy that Monk has taken over from ML, but I'm not claiming he's the answer to everything. And I never have. Others just have a habit of jumping to conclusions because it suits them to see everything as black and white. Maybe some don't have the intelligence to see nuanced replies.

Bony , Michu , De Guzman , Pablo ,Canas will do everything they can to go . Shelvey, Chico, Amat will be giving serious thought about going. I think this is the summer that Williams goes , I think he was really trying to go last summer which is why he was being shopped around by Laudrups agent . Vorm may ponder a move . This is not what I hope , it's what I believe

So you think 10 could go. LOL. That would be some kind of record. I think most players are more professional that you seem to think. I've heard some fans say similar things in the past, and it didn't happen.

What do you think will happen, that Laudrup will get a new job and sign all of them so that they can be with him?

If you don't want an answer , don't ask a question plastic . I think this could be a record breaking exodus , I've said on more than one occasion. Whether we do well or not , players will not like being with a team that has a board that can act they way they have .

Most players don't care about the board (of any team). You are making way too much out of this. If players cared about the boards then some teams wouldn't have any players at all.

You should get together with terror. It seems the top to priorities for players these days are a decent board and an airport nearby.

Laudrup turned down big time opportunities to keep his players on board for this season , just because you have your head in the sand about the players loyalty toward Laudrup staying plastic , doesn't mean player anger behind the scene isn't festering . Time will tell better than us .

Time will tell, so it's best left until then. There's no doubt that Monk will galvanize us in the short term. Will he be good enough for the long term? I don't think he has the experience for that but, again, time will tell.

He didn't turn down anything. He was contracted to us and no other club was given permission to talk to me. So please enlighten me and let me know what offers he got that he turned down.
