I think there's been wrong on both sides to be honest.

By and large though I think there's a chance for the club to behave more sensitively, rather than leaping on an offense with the harshest punishment.

The loyalty of a long-standing (no pun intended) supporter should count for something here. Seems very petty and feeds beautifully into a tidal wave of negative PR...

It would be easy for a rival fan like myself to use this as an excuse to have a go at Newcastle, but without knowing the history of what has gone on with this ladies ticket, then I will not do so. the above comment is probably how I would want my club to behave over an incident such as this..

The derby result,
Joe getting sacked,
rumors you only got an initial 16.5m for Cabaye,
Coach fired for slapping an under 21 player and now this. You lads really don't need this.

Another nasty person having a go at your beloved NUFC she should be locked up and the key thrown away , OH to get back to the time when citizens had bottle please please try to take a moral view of her actions and if they send United broke so be it

Indeed. Common sense seems a rareity these days.

What goes on at that Chav club, picking on the disabled now... Tut tut

Does your club have no boundaries?

It would have been better for us as a club if we had been in the position of Sunderland, and then her son could have just picked one of the empty seats to sit in with the girls.

Hell of a lot of innuendo about this woman when will we hear some truths seems like she is guilty until she can prove herself innocent can someone point me to a newspaper article

Am I the only one to take this with a pinch of salt ?

Her son used her season ticket once and once only to protect the poor wee lasses from the ways of the wicked world (and definitely wasn't habitually using his mother's discounted season ticket so as to avoid having to pay full price for one, as he/she have now been asked to do by the club). Possible of course.

From what I saw on another site, someone who knows the person involved said she wasn't giving all the facts. Doesn't surprise you with newspaper reports.

This is a quote from the disabled victim....

“I was told my ticket would be suspended while the club investigated whether my son had sat in the seat regularly,” she told the Newcastle Chronicle.
"I told them he never sits in the seat – I always sit in the seat and this was the first game I’d missed in 14 years. I only wanted the girls to be accompanied by an adult because I’m always there at home games to look after them."

yes thank **** its where the SR postcode kicks in now **** off mutant

Oh dear, I wasn't talking about areas covered as I live in Jarrow, as do many other Sunderland supporters.

I was talking about your club treating disabled folk, like this.

Yes, that is what she says. But then she would, wouldn't she.
