Also, Do you seriously think lukaku is the best striker in chelsea? His hold up play is terrible, passing is average and he doesn't work enough of the ball.

How is he at putting the ball in the net??? Always thought that's what strikers are for. Bet Gerd Muller and Jimmy Greaves are glad they don't play todays game, they'd never even get on the bench.

How many attacks will break down because he can't control a football? Goes both ways. He needs to work on his hold up play before he's ready for chelsea.

OK, he's not the absolutely finished article yet, but where does that put our current strikers. Jose kept Ba and Torres in preference to Lukaku and brought in Eto'o. Presumably all of them CAN control a football, hold up play and pass.
All they CAN'T do, is put the ball in the net. I'd rather have Lukaku, cause he does it more than ours combined..

Next season:

- release/sell Torres & Ba
- bring Lukaku back, keep Eto'o and buy 1.

That way, Lukaku + 1 are main strikers. I'm sure Eto'o will suffice as 3rd choice (for us and him)
