I can take a 40 yard pass on the outside of my foot, turn a defender, look up, and set off on a run, all in one fluid movement. Oh no, hang on, that's not me, that's Adam Lallana. Must've nodded off for a minute.

At this point (in bold), I was about to ask if you had any Spanish relatives ;)

I agree with this, but if we don't do any of it (like in this window) then we can't realistically expect to progress from the level we're at now (maybe we shouldn't expect to but it's hard not to be excited now!)
I think our squad depth has been our only problem this season, and highlights where we stand against the big boys. We can beat anyone on our day with everyone fit (which is amazing in itself!) Granted all our injuries came at just the wrong time as we faced the hardest games against the biggest clubs.
Our defensive midfield is a picture of how all of our positions need to be going forward - Wanyama gets injured and Cork comes in and it's now hard for Vic to get back in the team. You see it time and again in bigger clubs, but I think that's the only position where we have that.

So 4 signings not including a replacement for Lambert (not saying we need one now...)
I think this would show some intent - I like it!

The new striker would start off behind Lambert until he adapts(if needed). Once he has he will be first choice with Gallagher and Lambert fighting to be back up.

Hey, welcome. I haven't got any brilliant player suggestions, all I know is we will probably sign someone I've never heard of. Our squad is in a great position though for the Summer - it's like one of those transfer windows on Football Manager where you've got no players but tons of money. :) But for everyone suggesting new/replacement goalkeepers, you've all spelt Begovic wrong. ;)

4 new signings would be class but if qualify for the Europa league we are ****ed

Would we be allowed to play the kids instead to give them European experience? Or are we forced to field a strong team?

Just imagine our entire U18 squad playing all our (potential) Europa league matches - that would be amazing!
