I realise that WOL is a bit of a laughing stock here but they've gone for this as well. "say reports" means 'take with a pinch of salt' for me but it looks as though something's happening.

But not true really. Shearer seems to have really managed to think he was offered the job and he declined it....I get a different view from what i read. He was one of the candidates.

Anyway...It really is just a matter of time now before Malky shows up. If he wants to talk.....well....

The only bit of the Guardian column filler I'm not sure about is "When it emerged yesterday that the Bluebirds' preferred candidate..." ie Shearer. Have I missed something?
