WATFORD v BRIGHTON

Venue: Vicarage Road Date: Sunday, 2 February Kick-off: 15:00 GMT

Watford: Watford have won only one of their last seven games and two of their last 18 games in all competitions, but their only home defeat since mid-December was 1-0 against Reading in the Championship on 11th January.

Brighton: Brighton have lost only one of their last seven games in all competitions, winning four. Their only defeat since Boxing Day was the 1-0 loss at Derby in the Championship on 18th January.

Team News: Team news is very difficult to come by after the transfer window created a number of changes to the squads. Watford will be without midfielder Almen Abdi after he suffered a foot injury during the 4-2 defeat at Nottingham Forest on Thursday, but Samba Diakite is available following his loan move from QPR.

Midfielder Dale Stephens is set to make his Brighton debut on Sunday after joining from Charlton. Spanish striker David Rodriguez, who joined on Friday from Celta Vigo, could feature if his international clearance comes through in time.

This game is one that Watford really do need to win to settle a few nerves down. Will they? We must wait and see.

Enjoy the game wherever you might be in the world.

Today's referee is David Webb from Lancs who was the man in charge of the last league game Watford won against 11 men. Jon Marks.

This might look like a good moment to play Brighton since they have lost some influential players through injury or transfer. But Watford are in a period of transition themselves. How many of the new boys will Sannino risk playing, all at once?

Good luck today and i hope Diakite does ok for you..he will give 100% but is rash in the tackle, always good for a yellow or a red card though.

BHAFC : Kuszczak, Bruno, Greer, Upson, Ward; Andrews, Stephens, Forster-Caskey; David, Ulloa, Orlandi.

Subs : Brezovan, Calderon, Dunk, March, LuaLua, Rodriguez, Obika.

Watford: Almunia (c); Angella, Hall, Ekstrand; Cassetti, Tozser, Merkel, Battocchio, Anya; Deeney & Forestieri.

Have been watching the Scottish League Cup semi between Hearts & ICT. Inverness, down to 9 men after two sendings off, equalised with the last kick of normal time. <doh> Exciting match, if not very cultured football...

Just tuned into 3CR Live and they were promoting live coverage from 230pm. Fingers crossed.

I have a feeling that they will cut you off 5 mins before KO. The broadcast can usually be heard in their broadcast area only and not internet.

Bright sunshine at the Vic. Floods around Watford area are proving to be a problem.

Hornet Player up and running. Z Cars greets the teams.
